Bristol House Removals

We were let down at the last minute, due to moving dates Terry stepped in to help us move and what a great service, nothing was a problem, they had us all packed in a few hours, plus when set off to our new property some 30 miles away they were waiting outside for us. Would use Bristol Home Removals again if we moved and would also recommend them. John and Margaret.

I had to move my belongings into storage. I was assured by Terry that protective plastic covers will be put on mattresses, which wasn’t done. As I opened the storage door, some pictures weren’t packed, but resting on the concrete floor, some frames damaged. Some things I expected to be packed were just stuck into various places. They left one cupboard completely unpacked and I had to make an extra journey of 26 miles to carry staff which should have been put into storage. A couple of pictures still hanging as they were leaving. I was also packing and I wish I kept a close watch on what they were doing, as it appears they didn’t do a decent job. I dread to think what other damage I will discover when my belongings will be removed from storage.

Had many quotes for our move but Terry made us feel comfortable that everything would go smoothly, and his team worked so well seemed effortless, which I know it wasn't! They worked so hard, even when items we had forgotten, he reminded us to take. Got furniture in rooms that we thought impossible! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is moving. We employed Bristol House Removals for a domestic moving job. The run-up to completion was incredibly stressful so it was a genuine tonic to have the team around for the final hurdle in getting to our new place; we instantly engaged with the team who seemed to sense our mood and set about lightening it by efficiently getting everything ready way ahead of schedule. It was a pleasure to have them in the house (and I'm really picky about tradesmen). The stark contrast between our stress levels before the guys were on the job and during the job was clear to see. The work ethic, positivity and expertise was infectious to be around and nothing was too much trouble at all. When you move house, you want to be in safe hands and I'm so glad we picked this firm.

On the day of the move we were really nervous but thanks to the two lads it was actually stress free I cannot praise the two lads for there help and kindness they were efficient and well organised they are a credit to the company once again many many thanks.

This was a removal via storage from north Somerset to Cheshire. From start to finish there was a professional and "can do" approach". Members of the team were courteous and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was no damage whatsover to our belongings or the two properties. We would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending them.

My wife and I have had to use Bristol House Removals on three separate occasions and have been happy with the service each time. Terry was most helpful with helping with the quote, and his team efficient and professional. Fantastic service from professional people who did exactly what they said they would. They gave a very competitive price, arrived exactly on time, staff wore uniforms and were polite, everything packed securely in individual cases/bags where necessary (e. G. : mattress packed in bags used only once and left with us after the move), our onward move was slightly delayed by a couple of hours - no problem they waited patiently and unpacked our furnishings exactly where we wanted them to be. They even connected our washing machine for us - fantastic. Lastly, when we had eventually moved in and unpacked the individual boxes some weeks later, they returned promptly to collect them. In all a splendid job, well done and thank you.

Terry and his team helped us move from BS8 to BS10 and they were extremely professional and helpful - they provided all our packing boxes in advance and special covers for furniture/pictures etc on the day. We had a fragile packing service with two vans to take us from Bristol to Leicestershire. The service was excellent from start to finish with nothing too much trouble. Great care was taken to make sure that there was no damage to anything and the cheerful way in which the team worked from start to finish made the whole two days as stress free as possible. BHR packed us up and moved us a couple of months ago. They were able to accommodate a late booking no problem. Very friendly team to have around and nothing was a problem, even when we wanted some furniture moved back downstairs having asked them to lug it upstairs first! Would definitely recommend them.
