Bought tickets from OK travel (sub agent of Brightsun Hounslow). They failed to do full refund of tickets despite flight cancellation as Brightsun retained their ‘service charge‘! . If anyone else had similar issue with refund them or anyother travel agent then we should report them on following website:Https://www. Coronavirus-business-complaint. Service. Gov. Uk/.
This Company is full of Useless people, for their own benefit they are making trouble for passengers and wasting people money. Staff does not know any rule and regulation of any Airline, Over charged me as Etihad Airways told me due to Cornavirus Advisory, Ticket cancellation is free of charge but they charged me GBP250 each Ticket. I will not recommend anyone to book any Holiday with them.
Booked a flight through this travel agency for my disabled mum. They were suppose to arrange special assistance and extra luggage for her medication. However, when we went to check-in we found out that none of these arrangements were done and due to the complications my mum missed her flight. After contacting them to resolve the situation I have been transferred to different people, hung up and put on hold for over 40 mins. Book with them at your own peril!
I contacted Brightsun Travel UK Limited in early January to get quotes for a 10 day holiday in late January to early February. I dealt with a member of staff called Sunny Patil who tailored the itinerary to precisely what we wanted. The quote provided for our final choice which was 3 nights in Cairo and 7 nights in Sharm el-Sheikh was highly competitive compared to other websites which I have used in the past. During my conversations with Sunny the destination changed on many occasions as both me and my wife considered other alternatives, at all times Sunny was extremely patient and very responsive in respect of all the alternatives available - a superb service. During our stay in Cairo there were some disturbances in the city due to demonstrations, however we found the locals were always friendly to tourists. During this time we received an email and a call from Sunny to check all was well and that we did not have any issues, again we were highly impressed with the quality of after sales service we received. Overall we were extremely happy with our holiday and will certainly consider Brightsun for our future travel arrangements.
I am an elderly lady who paid for 2 seats for long haul flight so that I could travel in comfort. However, I only received 1 seat on the flight and on returning to the uk tried to get my money back for the extra seat. Bright Sun have refused to refund and are ignoring any contact. After 6 months of getting no further with my claim for refund I contacted the airline. They agreed to refund the full amount but it had to go through the agent (Bright Sun). Bright Sun received the money from Virgin but have refused to pay me. My only remaining avenue is to contact ABTA. At my age I should not be going through this stress. Very disappointed and let down.
I booked my holiday with Brightsun Travel and found their staff uninteresting unhelpful and very unprofessional. I went to New York on 25 March for one week and had problems from start to finish. Avoid booking with them on all cost.
Brightsun has slashed the need to look for customers, i am really happy. They offered me cheap airfare and helped me so much for my trip to Egypt, even adding the other things to make my trip even better. I am really thankful to the reservation staff, nice service i must say.
I have booked several holidays through this website, not only for myself but for other family members. I have also recommended to my friends as they are always the lowest in price. Website is easy to use. One of my holidays was in last years ash cloud and the whole reservation team on the phone were very helpful at that time. I have no bad experience with Brightsun Travel as yet and will continue to book my tickets and holidays.
