Established in 1964, Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs are the largest privately owned taxi company on the south east coast covering a vast area from Peacehaven through to Worthing. In August 2005 they took over Carcabs, a Portslade based taxi company, and in July 2006 they took over ACBA Taxis Lancing which means they now have a combined fleet of over 280 vehicles ranging from standard saloons to multi seaters for up to 8 passengers.
With over 280 licensed hackney carriage and private hire vehicles and over 40 experienced staff, the company provides an honest and reliable 24 hour taxi service to the general public. The airport transfer service is designed to be cost effective, enabling customers to benefit from a reliable door to door service.
Brighton and Hove Radio Cabs Ltd has an expanding network of clients, based in and around Brighton, including American Express, the BBC, the Brighton Centre, Brighton Dome, Gala Bingo, the Grand Hotel, the Hilton Brighton Metrople Hotel, Hotel du Vin, the Palace Pier and many more.
The company is managed by Tony Breslin who has been involved in the Taxi trade for many years. Tony Breslin is experienced enough to run the company, having previously worked for Hove Streamline Taxis.
