I can’t recommend this Science Club enough! My children absolutely loved it. They were both so excited, learning about science through fun and engaging activities like decorating their own activity bags, creating a blood clot model of slime, and so much more. The clubs are packed with interesting content and hands-on learning that really kept them engaged and eager to talk about what they’d discovered. Additionally, the process was super smooth, and I was really impressed with how accommodating the team was. I had a last-minute childcare cancellation, and Lizzie went above and beyond to book my daughter in with very short notice, allowing me to get to work stress-free. It’s clear that a lot of effort and care goes into these clubs, and I’m so grateful for everything they’ve done. If you’re looking for a fun, educational, and well-organised club for your children, this is the one!
Every half term and summer holidays when Bright sparks come to town our girl( currently 7 years old) is in. Science, fun and magic put together, various themes, in fact every time something new. I wish there were such clubs when I was a child! I very highly recommend Bright sparks!
Excellent party for our son's 7th birthday - all of the Holstein were so engaged (not easy with 20 aged 4-7! ) and we are still getting messages from parents about how much the children enjoyed it. So well organised, excellent communication throughout the whole process and already booked on for a day in half term!
My children have been to Bright Sparks after school clubs, so when the request was made for a science birthday party, they were the obvious choice. I did have a look around first but found Bright Sparks to offer the best value for money. My 9 year old decided on an electricity party with extra candy floss making and hover boarding. 'Nitro-Jen' arrived promptly on the day of the party and set up as the guests arrived. She had the kids enthralled from the moment she began, explaining the science behind each activity in a way they could really understand and enjoy. The kids used diffraction glasses, had a go on the van de graaf machine, looked at fluorescence, lasers, static shocks and then sat down to make silly putty. After a spot of lunch they had a go on Nitro-Jen's huge hover board and we're delighted as they whizzed around the room. She finished off with some candy floss, explaining all the time how everything worked (even to Grandad who queued up for his candy floss with everybody else). My daughter's party was the talk of the school for the whole week afterwards and I would highly recommend it for kids between the ages of 8 to 11. (Although I think Bright Sparks can adapt for younger children).Moreexpand_more
Just fantastic - Nitro-Jen and Atomic Andy managed to keep 40+ 4-6 year olds completely transfixed and engaged with the dry ice birthday party. So much preparation, thought and work, and all delivered with such passion and love for science and sharing it in such an easy to digest way. Our two loved it. Cannot recommend Bright Sparks more highly. Thank you so much.
We booked an air party with putty making and a hoverboard for our daughter's 7th birthday party (17 children aged 4-7). Nitro -Jen was absolutely amazing. All the children (and most of the parents who stayed! ) were mesmerised. She was also punctual, well organised and cleared up thoroughly afterwards. I would thoroughly recommend bright sparks.
We chose Bright Sparks for a joint birthday party for two five year olds. The guests were 20 four, five, and six year olds and a couple of older ones. It was an achievement just to keep them all focused for one hour, but Jenny had them mesmerized. The theme of the presentation was air. Nitro-Jen's demonstrations and experiments had them gasping with delight throughout. They were all involved and participating, kept involved by Nitro-Jen's entertaining and energetic dialogue. The kids were laughing throughout. All the parents commented how impressive Jen's performance was on all accounts. The kids learned the magic and power of air, and were thrilled whilst doing it. I would certainly hire Bright Sparks again, for this age group and older groups, as my 8 year old daughter also loved the performance.Moreexpand_more
We had Nitro-Jen for our daughter's 8th Birthday Party. It was Harry Potter themed and worked brilliantly. They were all girls and loved it. It was all very hands on and there was lots of squeals of delight and laughter. The putty was a great take home gift and the dry ice at the end was amazing. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
Nitro-jen kept the kids at my daughter's 7th birthday really busy and entertained. There were 16 children and quite an age range so jenny suggested the air party. The older ones engaged more with it than the younger ones (aged 4). It was very hands on and participative. Jenny got the kids playing a tug of war, she kept balls up in the air and encouraged the kids to do the same. My daughter said it was perfect. Another child said it was the best party ever. The best thing … They got to take slime home! Thanks jenny.
Our son loved his science birthday party, as did all the kids attending. The party was well organised and there was flexibility starting a little later to wait for a few more children to arrive. With the entertainment taken care off the parents could take a step back on focus on the food. Our son called the party 'epic'! I would certainly recommend Bright Sparks Science.
My children have previously been to Bright Sparks after school clubs, and loved them. So we decided on a Bright Sparks Science party. The scientist arrived well before the party to set up and was lovely! All the children thoroughly enjoyed the party and were mesmerised through the whole thing. We chose a Dry Ice party and I can really recommend this, the children's faces were a picture when the bubbling 'potions' spilled over! Overall, the service was absolutely brilliant.
Massive thanks to Nitro-Jen for a brilliantly executed party for my 7-year old girl. My daughter had guests from Years 1-5 and all of them had a fantastic time. All the parents were pleased as well. If you are looking for something different in terms of a party theme, this is the way to do it. Highly recommended! PS -the Hover board add on is worth the extra cost.
"Nitro-Jen" came and did my son's 6th party with 22 children. We booked the one hour slot and had an "Amazing Air" party. The children were completely engaged by her many experiments and hands-on work. Often at parties, you get children drifting in and out of the group, but all of them were entertained and absorbed in what she was doing. With this age group, you need a lot of diversity and she certainly offered that. Would thoroughly recommend!
After using up all the local magicians, build a bear etc, my daughter wanted something else for her 7th birthday party. I came accross Bright Sparks on the internet and they were fantastic. Jenny came to us on Saturday and amazingly kept 25, 7 year olds absolutley fascinated with the chemistry experiments. They loved it. We had the party in our garden and it was wonderful. Would very highly recommend Bright Sparks, we will defintely use them again.
Wow! My son Oscar really wanted a 'science themed' for his 7th birthday party. Bright Sparks Science was absolutely amazing! Oscar invited 16 friends who all enjoyed the hands on experience. They watched exploding chemicals, made their own 'popping' creations, played with air guns, made their own science goo and had a ride on an hover board! As a parent I was worried about how much mess and help I would be needed to do, however I literally sat back and watched! I could not recommend Bright Sparks Science enough. If your child loves science Bright Sparks Science is a MUST!
