Mark, came to visit today on behalf of Corgi, he was very efficient, listened to me and tried everything he could to get me up and running. He got the boiler reset and the because I told him it had happened a few times in the last couple of months, he looked into it further and spoke to Corgi about a permanent resolution. I am more than happy, he didn’t just get it working possibly temporarily he made the call to Corgi.
First met Mark after an emergency call out on Xmas Eve of all times! He was the only one who'd come out even after suffering a severe burn during a car fire. He called out and capped the leak and I called him in the new year to arrange a proper repair as insurance only pay for one hour to stop the leak. He called out and told us what parts we needed then called back the next morning to complete the job. He went above and beyond even staying behind for 15 minutes after being paid to ensure there were no leaks. He even messaged us that evening to ensure everything was still dry. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs help. His pricing was very fair and the work was exemplary.
My central boiler required repairing (excessive pressure and leaking). I am insured with Corgi. I requested assistance to repair the boiler. Mark called and said he would be at my home in 2 hrs. He inspected the boiler and said that the work required to be carried out by the manufacturer and he contacted Corgi explained the faults and arranged for the manufacturer to carry out the repairs. But he would not leave until he had decreased the pressure and cured the leak temporarily so that we would have heating. The reason why it required manufacturer to repair was that it had been incorrectly installed in 2016 but the annual inspections had not reported any faults. The reason for my grading of 5 Stars is that Mark had the knowledge and experience to find the errors in installation and carry out temporary repairs so that we would not be without heating and hot water. Date of call 22 Nov 24.
Mark came out to look at a problem with our boiler not working, and it turned out that we needed it replacing. He and his colleague Rob had a number of issues when it came to removing the old boiler and fitting the new one (due to how the old one had been installed a number of year ago), but they sorted out all of the problems and the work was all completed to a high standard within 2 days. Throughout the work being done, Mark kept us informed of what they were doing and preempted any possible issues with some of our old pipework in the future,. Mark even called us the following morning to check that everything was working ok.
