Boatability provides RYA Powerboat and Shore based Training as well as corporate and commercial charters to clients world wide. The company, which is located in Portsmouth, was originally formed back in 2005 and has years of commercial experience in the Maritime and security sectors worldwide. Its founders are all ex Royal Navy Clearance Divers who have accumulated a wealth of experience in their many years of service, which is clearly reflected in the courses and training offered.

The firm provides clients with a professional approach and has fully fitted classrooms and a range of boats to ensure the best possible training environment is provided. The expert staff always ensure clients are provided with the training necessary to get them on the water both safely and confidently. The services offered will not only meet the necessary regulations guidelines to ensure one knows what they are doing but they will also find the training enjoyable and fun at the same time.

Boatability supplies a wide range of RYA and Bespoke training packages, including City and Guilds accreditation that can be tailored to meet a client or customer's requirements. The courses usually come with full certification unless of a bespoke nature, even then the training can still be accredited if necessary through the companies training design team, which allows training to be offered on a world wide basis.

With a team that includes years of Royal Navy and Coast Guard experience, Boatability's staff members are not only qualified to a to a very high standard that is required of the RYA and City and Guilds, but also have to meet in house assessments to ensure standards are maintained throughout.

Boatability Portsmouth Ltd has an expanding group of customers, e.G. The Royal Navy and Royal Marines, The British Army, The Royal Saudi Navy, The Fire Brigade, Babcocks, BAE Systems, The Environment Agency, BT Emergency Response, Hythe Ferries etc.

The company is owned by Patricia Kincart and managed by Nick Kincart who has been working in the Training Service Providers business for many years. Having previously worked for the royal navy, Nick is adequately trained to oversee the smooth operation of the company.

All of Boatability's trainers are experienced boat operators ranging from Military, Coastguard, Race Boat and RYA Trainers and Instructors so a good combination of skills to ensure your training carried out at Boatability is fully covered as it should be.
