Established in the year 2000, Bluestone gallery established itself as one of the finest art and craft galleries in the South West. Based in the market town of Devizes it provided a huge range of the highest quality British craftsmanship and original art, both in the gallery and online. In 2021 Bluestone moved hook line and sinker to the Border town on Hay on Wye. Nestled just inside Wales on the edge of the river Wye, Hay is famous as a Book Town, and now has several art galleries as well, making it a very desirable location for visitors.

Perhaps the main focus of the gallery is British handmade jewellery. The work of over 50 jewellers can be found in the gallery. It is creative and unusual work that you find here, not factory made high street jewellery. Silver and semi precious stone work is our customers' favourite, and it is amazing the variety of designs and styles our makers create.

In addition to jewellery, the gallery also had hand made ceramics, stoneware earthenware and porcelain. Some is funtional and some decorative, or both. Handblown glass is strongly featured, along with bronze scultpures, handturned wood and original paintings and prints.
