Alan is an exceptional hair dresser and colourist. High end expertise and service, with an eye for perfection. What he doesn’t know about products isn’t worth knowing, so you know the condition of your hair is also in capable hands. Alan has been cutting my hair for 11 years, from pixie crops to long on trend blunt cuts, I love to mix it up and for this you need to trust your hairdresser. I’m a hair and make-up artist and I know exactly what I want. My hair is naturally fine, straight and knotty, so needs expect tlc. You book with Alan for the whole pamper experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to cut my clients hair either! 5 stars.

Alan has been cutting my hair for over 10 years now and I have always been really happy with the results. He has transformed my naturally thick, frizzy hair in to something which looks great when he has finished cutting and drying it and is now easily manageable at home. He's also great company. Recently, my six year old son had an unfortunate 'peaky blinders' cut at a local barbers. Alan fixed this and, in the words of my son, 'made my hair awesome again! '. Alan has cut and blow dried my hair for three years and done an amazing job. He's not just a great stylist but there is nothing about hair that he doesn't know. He helped me through a complete panic after losing loads of hair after my second baby and has given me brilliant advice on hair condition and scalp problems due to chaotic hormones! He's passionate about his craft and I have already recommended him to two friends.

Alan has been cutting my hair for about 18 months now. I never have bad hair days now. The cuts are exceptional - and boy am I fussy! I get loads of compliments about my hair too. He takes time at the beginning to find out what you want and makes helpful suggestions. And he takes time fine tuning it after it ahs been dried. He is a nice bloke too!

I was looking for a new hairdresser, one who could cut and finish my unruly hair and make me feel ‘normal’! After visiting numerous salons in and around Reading and having costly and disastrous experiences, I came across Alan. I duly booked my online appointment, turned up at the salon and boy did he do a fantastic job. I can honestly say it’s the best hair cut I’ve ever had, it looks great and I have received many compliments. Not only that but the cut has lasted and I have been able to successfully manage it at home, always a challenge I find!
