With fully rigged, purpose built rooms and fully qualified staff, the company delivers professional rehearsal and recording facilities to local and international bands. The service is designed to be cost effective, helping clients to achieve their musical best at an affordable price, £10 per hour.

Set up in 1997 as Studio284, the business is still in Brighton Kemptown.

Located on Madeira Drive, in Black Rock Subway opposite sunny Kemptown beach, BlackRock Subway Studios has two rooms full of 100watt Marshall amps (all valve and classic models), Gallien Krueger / Ampeg bass and pearl/ premier drums. Each room has PA big enough for the job and the backline comes free with the advertised price.

After a long period of relocation since 284 was closed, BlackRock Subway Studios are now open for business.
