I’ve not ridden since 2013, and became a Mummy in the intervening years. My bike was parked in the garage (I’m now working on getting her back up and running! ), and I wasn’t entirely sure if I’d ever be willing to ride again, the only thing stopping me from selling my XVS250 bike is that I’m short (5’2”! ), and finding a bike that fits can be a pain. However with my youngest now a bit older I felt the pull to get back on the bike, but wanted to do it properly and also needed a bit of a confidence boost, and so I contacted Nik. What a fantastic instructor! He suggested the best thing for me might be to effectively do the CBT day, meaning I get a whole day on the bike (the Honda CB125R did the job fine for my stature), and I got a solid opportunity to rebuild my confidence and comfortability with both being on a bike in general, manoeuvring, and road riding. Nik has the ideal disposition and demeanour as an instructor, he’s clear, considered, thorough, and calm. Honestly, I could not have asked for a better day and instructor to get me back out there. Thanks Nik! Highly Recommend!Moreexpand_more
Did my CBT here last week. Great instructors that give plenty of feedback and suggestions to improve your riding while spending time on each rider based on their needs. Through out the course I felt they always acted in the interest of their riders safety with out rushing over any parts of the teaching. Highly recommend.
I can thoroughly recommend Nik. He help me complete both CBT and Mod 1 and Mod 2 with a clean sheet. His calm and professional manner really put me at ease, and it was clear we would only move on with the lesson when I was ready to proceed. He was also very accommodating of my inflexible availability.
I would like to say a great big thanks Nik for the following:Being flexible and understanding of my need to redo my CBT. Offering simple and effective feedback enabling me to digest and apply it. Arranging training and testing to meet my needs. Supporting my learning experience at a pace that I could handle whilst training others simultaneously. Keeping me informed and clear about expectations throughout via messaging and conversation. As a coach training provider myself I know it is not easy to do what Nik does and it is fair to say that he does it exceptionally well. Starting from nothing to Mod 1 and 2 at the age of 62 with a first time pass was amazing for me and Niks knowledge and experience ensured a great learning experience. Thanks again Nik and keep up making people lives bigger by what you do. I look forward to learning more skills with you downline. Mick Stott .Moreexpand_more
Wow what can I say done my CBT with Nik and found him so good at explaining what you need to do and is so patient and will keep going over things till you are happy that you can do it. That meant there was only one person I wanted to take me on my journey to my full license. The price wasn't irrelevant for me as I wanted Nik to teach me but the price was very reasonable. And once again I wasn't disappointed, I wasn't the most confident rider but Nik puts you at ease and soon builds the confidence with his clear and precise instructions and if you are struggling one way he always has another way to try something and surprise surprise it works. I am still over the moon that I passed and am loving being on a bigger bike. Cannot thank Nik enough what a man and great set up he has in a lovely calming setting with some beautiful scenery to look at when you are out and about. Thank you so much again Nik and I will pop in for a coffee and show off my pride and joy soon.
I recently did my full bike test training with Nick at Bike Moore after many years of taking CBT’s. From the outset Nick put me at ease and gave clear instructions for us to follow. Any questions I had were answered with patience and clarity, and I’m delighted to report that I passed both Mod 1 and Mod 2 first time. All in all a very enjoyable experience with a great result - highly recommended. Ian Court.
Great I passed mod 1 and 2 ? Nik’s training and advice are simply the best and he will tell you things probably no other so called training schools even know about to get your full license. He cares and wants you to get on and pass your test. I wasted money with a trainer in the Oxfordshire area with not very good bikes and not very knowledgeable when it comes to riding bikes which is scary! Get with Nik he will get you through Thanks bike-Moore ? .
Bike-moore has an excellent pedigree with very high standards, and I can vouch for that. The quality of instructing from Nik, and attention to detail is second to none. I can recommend nobody better than Nik, who brings out the very best in his students. Thanks for your help in getting me to the required standard to fully pass put as a qualified motorcyclist.
I cannot recommend Nik enough. I was recommended him in the first place as I wanted to learn how to ride safely and not just to pass a test and Nik delivered on all counts. Because of Covid, it was nearly 2 years since passing my CBT with another Company that I had not been over impressed by. I went to Nik and had to wait for the appropriate course to fit in with my very difficult shift pattern, but it was WELL worth the wait! I had two days of training to gear me up for further safe riding and (as an aside) preparing me for what to expect on my MOD 1 and 2. I noticed he has got me out of my bad habits from nearly two years of riding and a few of his tips have allowed me to corner a few mph faster, more confidently and (most importantly) SAFER. I passed my MOD 2 a few days ago and when I asked for feedback about any faults, he said "that was a really nice ride" I had plenty of nerves as I have been looking to complete it for a long time and I was running out of time before I would need to re-do my CBT. But the preparation Nik armed me with allowed me the confidence to pass both tests and I am already finding my riding being far smoother and safer. Thank you Nik. I have already recommended two people to use you and there will be many more.Moreexpand_more
Excellent tuition and service from Nik who was able to get me from very limited experience with a 125cc to passing my DAS 1st time on the mod 1 and 2 all in a short time which is amazing during these times. Great bikes to learn on and great teaching from a very experienced teacher. Highly recommended.
I’ve done all of my motorcycle tuition with Nik and I cannot recommend him enough! Everything was passed first time and I thoroughly enjoyed every second! I had a issue on the second day of my training where I stalled about 30odd times but Nik was quick to sort it for me and I have just been out on my bike for the first time and it felt second nature. Thanks Nik!
Today I did a session to pass my CBT with Bike-Moore. I can thoroughly recomended Nik as an instructor. I was slightly aprehensive before the course, as it's been over 20 years since I'd ridden a bike, and that was all off-road Motocross. I was soon put at ease though. Safety briefings are thorough, comprehensive, with excellent and informative communication on the practical aspects… All whilst making the learning fun! I will be certainly be back to do my DAS with Nik in the future.
I passed Both Mod 1 &2 for my full motorcycle license last Friday and I can only say that it wouldn’t have been possible without Nik’s patience and skills to help me out understand how to properly control the bike and how to be safe on the road. I’m not an easy person to teach so I’m glad I chose Bike Moore!
I did my fifth CBT (yes, I should get my A1! ) with Nik. He was really patient with us and catered for all experience levels. He got us more experienced ones through quickly without cutting corners and spent time with those who needed more instruction. I enjoyed the ride on the great retro loaner scoot! Much prefer biking to my car. Will be back to maybe do my A1.
