We had Bosa Nova, playing at our wedding pre-drinks. The music they were playing was just wonderful, it was lovely melodies. Enough softness that when guests were talking they would not have to shout, but also with enough volume that guests could sit and enjoy. It was great. Thank you guys.
I cannot thank Brian White and Bossa Nova enough for providing such wonderful music for our wedding ceremony and our afternoon tea. From our initial enquiry Brian was incredibly helpful and prompt with replying to our emails and giving us straight forward answers to our queries. The week before our big day Brian met up with us and went through a final run through of what we wanted from him and was always on hand via phonecalls with any last minute queries. Bossa Nova were incredibly professional on the day, they were set up on time and caused no disturbances/distractions so neither myself or my best man had to worry about them. Their performances were fantastic and they played "Nobody Does It Better" (from the film The Spy Who Loved Me) as the tune my Bride walked down the aisle to. It brought a massive smile to our faces and the whole congregation loved it. They also played "The Best Is Yet To Come" and "L-O-V-E" and everyone commented on how great the tunes were and how they added to the atmosphere of the wedding venue (we got married up in the Great Hall at Mont Orgueil Castle. ). After the ceremony we had an afternoon tea at the castle, for which Bossa Nova played a great selection of Jazz tunes. We could've asked for specific songs - Brian was very accommodating and nothing was too much trouble - and at the end of the tea Bossa Nova were professional to the end. They packed up and went off without any fuss or distracting from the afternoon tea. I didn't even realise they had gone off. I was actually sad not to have said goodbye and what a brilliant job they did. Bossa Nova were great value for money and so helpful from start to finish. When it came to planning our wedding, Bossa Nova was one thing we didn't have to worry about. I look forward to booking them again in the future. And seeing what other film tunes I can throw their way!Moreexpand_more
Brian made my life so much easier in organising my event. He liased directly with the hotel to arrange the set up which saved me additional work and the music they provided fitted the event perfectly. The band arrived early and were happy to start playing earlier than planned which worked better on the night. I would definitely consider using them again.
Brian White (trumpet) played with Tim Horsfall (guitar) and separately with Malcolm Whittel (organ) at our wedding service. Brian arranged rehearsals and on the day, the music was superb. It helped to add to the magic of the beautiful St Brelade’s Parish Church. Brian White’s Jazz band also played for us in the evening. The sound of cool classy jazz music was an instant hit with the guests and really made the evening special. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Brian – a real professional.
Brian White Jazz played at a gala dinner for us. The booking process and arrangements were seamless and Brian handled a last minute change of times and location at the venue without a hitch. The perfect musical accompaniment to any sort of event, I would recommend Brian White Jazz to anyone seeking a professional and accomplished band.
Brian and the rest of the band were all fantastic at our wedding drinks reception. They were very flexible and we really appreciated the enormous effort that they all put in to make it a success. We had lots of comments from the guests who really enjoyed the music. We really liked the fact that you could hear it (so often at wedding receptions you can't hear the music). We would highly recommend the group. Thanks guys - you were great. Ollie and Lucy .
