BG Removals & Storage

This time I chose the right people. Everyone at BG Removals is courteous, polite and thoroughly professional. They arrived on time (in fact, half an hour early) and conducted the removal perfectly. The two 3-seater sofas which had caused so many problems for the firm I used when moving in a few years ago were removed as if they had shrunk to half their size. Great care was taken with all my possessions, and any time there was any likelihood of a problem (always down to my packing, and old furniture which was very rickety) they consulted me and explained the issue, and allowing me to make decisions. Even my wobbliest bits of furniture were packed, transported and unpacked without a single problem. I really can't emphasize enough how much I appreciated their professional approach as anyone who moves house knows the stress you go through. I would recommend BG Removals without hesitation to anyone who needs to move house.

I rang BG Removals at very short notice when the original company I had booked let me down. They were able to accommodate my urgent request, and on a Sunday no less and arrived very quickly at such short notice. They worked efficiently and were very polite and professional. I would like to thank the removals men at bg removals that helped me move to storage from nottingham to Liverpool. Highly experienced at packing up a house and they took great care of my furniture, sofa and television covers were used to protect from damage. A competitive quote and would highly recommend them all the best in the future lads keep it up.

I did read the reviews bekow and compared to the other reviews below and decuded to go ahead with company. Ive moved all my life and have used big professional removal comoanies and so far none of them come any where near the level of professionalism and the quality ofvservice provided by bg removals they were very polite friendly and very carefull with my furniture and would highly recommend to any one 5 stars all the way and will be using them soon.

A very poor service. We needed to move quickly having sold our house. I didn't have time to fill in our requirements through their website so I phoned them instead. An initial price of £350 was increased to £400 on the basis of 'further information' I gave them over the phone. The van that arrived was clearly too small and when I showed them the property to be removed they still insisted they could complete the removal. To cut a long story short they asked for a further £200 when it became apparent that it would require a second trip. I refused to pay one basis that they had set a price and we had packed and removed all boxes ourselves. They left behind a double wardrobe, a freezer, dryer and all the equipment stored in the garage. I was left to go and hire a van and complete the removal myself. They arrived at 9am and finished the job at 1 pm (4 hours!). We are in rented accommodation until we buy our own property again but would never use this company. B. I would like to thank bg removals for helping me at such a short notice and at a time when I needed help the most. They helped me move to London at an affordable cost and provided with a complete packing, dismantling and assembly service as I couldn't do any of that my self as it was such a short notice even for myself. The removals men were excellent and knew exactly what they were doing and what goes where as all boxes were labeled up and arrived safely to my new accommodation. I would highly recommend these polite and reliable removals men at bg removals Thank you very much.

Really disappointed! We booked a service for Fri 30 Aug at 6pm in advance and paid the deposit 20 pound. But on appoinment day they just called us at appoinment time (6. 05 pm) and said sorry they couldn't do as promise! But we had to move within that day. They said they could do it at midnight on that day but they would charge additional 40pounds. Wasn't it our fault? So we decided to take another service instead cause we wouldn't be charged. And what they said was "So we won't return your deposit back because you cancelled our service. ". Nothing to say. They missed an appoitment first. Selfish and unreliable service. These guys packed and moved my academic office in a morning - and I have 30 years of books, papers and journals. Nice chaps, too. Recommended.

The two guys showed up right on time for my local Nottingham move, were very professional, and very very fast - they cleared a one bedroom flat of furniture in 45 minutes, and unloaded at the other end in the same amount of time, even with a very slow lift. They even gave me a lift over to the new flat in their van, as I don't have a car so was expecting to walk. Highly recommended!

I was very impressed, firstly I thought as it was such a low price I didn't think I was going to get such an outstanding service, all my many items were placed in every correct room around the house in a ripid and safe fashion. Thank you I would use again and recommend to a friend.

BG came to move boxes and furniture from my parents home to my top floor (! ) flat in Nottingham. Everything was done in double-quick time despite the significant distance, inclement weather and varied weights and sizes of items. They were polite, efficient and flexible with arrangements. Therefore I can certainly recommend these guys without hesitation and can attest to their professionalism and the good value of their service.

Excellent rates for collecting com delivery of a sofa. Guys were punctual. Actually early. Polite. Friendly and really quick. Great service and will definitely use again in the future !
