Beyond Theory

We have been working with Paul for the past three and a half years. Paul has delivered training and facilitated sessions for us, always bringing energy, clarity, and expertise to every interaction. Paul is highly flexible and adapts his style to bring out the best in the group on the day. He is a pleasure to work with and is a valued learning specialist. .

The Myers-Briggs training with Paul was genuinely insightful and engaging. He created a relaxed, open environment that made it easy for everyone to participate and reflect on their own preferences and working styles. The session struck a great balance between theory and practical application, giving us useful tools to improve communication and collaboration across the team. It was not only informative but also enjoyable, and we’ve already started to see the benefits in how we work together.

Well-structured and effective work for my team by strengthening collaboration, communication and motivation. A key component of the session was the use of the Strengths Development Inventory (SDI). This provided team members with a clearer understanding of their core motivational values and how these influence their behaviours, under normal conditions and during conflict. Participants gained insight into their own working styles as well as those of their colleagues, which helped to build empathy and reduce misinterpretations in day-to-day. The opportunity also incorporated small group tasks, which were practical and engaging. These activities encouraged engineers to collaborate outside of their usual working patterns, fostering cross-functional communication and trust. By working in smaller groups, individuals had more opportunity to contribute, which increased participation. From a motivational perspective, the combination of SDI and experiential learning was effective. The session created a safe environment for open discussion, enabled the team to reflect on strengths and areas for improvement. I was part of a group of 8 managers who took part in a 1 day Managing Performance workshop with Paul that he conducted online. The content was extremely relevant and we could see how it could be applied in our daily work within our departments. It was also great for manager team building! Would highly recommend Paul and Beyond Theory.

All of our team were blown away with the course content, modules but most of all - delivery! Yet another brilliant training session delivered by Paul and Beyond Theory. I attended previous sessions a few years back so I was very excited to have more time with Paul - this time on importance and conduct of 1 to 1 meetings.

This was my first training session with Paul, was via zoom learning about performing 1-2-1 sessions with staff. I attended the Sales Through Service course and it has allowed me to re-focus my mind on sales and gave me so many good pointers. Really great course - if you are just starting out in sales or have been it in for over 20 years (like me! ).
