Maria has been fantastic, not only is her work outstanding and her pricing reasonable she has made the fittings for my wedding dress fun. She is a warm friendly and kind individual that makes you feel at ease when you come for fittings. Maria has completely transformed my wedding dress which was too small and too long and she not only has made it fit, but you can't even tell its been adjusted. Excellent service and experience all round, Maria was very pleasant and helpful. We had my daughter's prom dress altered, a couple of little things straps and split shortened along with the hem and train shortened all perfectly, it looks better than when we bought it and was very reasonable priced. Maria altered a dress for me that I had bought for a wedding last year which had to be cancelled due to pandemic and changed to this year. I lost weight and the dress was too big. It was a very tricky alteration due to the style of the dress and Maria did it quickly and perfectly for the most reasonable price - would highly recommend to anyone.

Maria (Betterfit) was recommended by a friend some time ago. Over the last few years she has altered a number of dresses, trousers etc. Each item has been done in a professional and timely manner and the end result always pleasing. Most recently Maria has made a set of curtains incorporating blackout linings. Using materials, measurements and a basic outline of what we required, she has produced a set of curtains above our expectations and which are an excellent testimony to her ability.

Had two pairs of trousers altered. Maria is lovely, the service was fast and efficient and she does an amazing job! She has a wonderful eye for detail and I will defiantly be returning ! - Thanks again.

Plain trousers shortened. I have frequently been using another alterations company in Huddersfield for many years but have had a few recent disappointments. I therefore sought an alternative and Maria from BetterFit has just completed a job and the results are superb. Her service was fast and reliable and also competitively priced - a great find indeed and I will certainly be using her services for all my alterations in future.

This company was recommended by a friend. I took my wedding dress here all my bridesmaids dresses all to be altered and the work was top draw. I always use better fit the price is good the work is amazing and they always do it on time. I wouldn’t use anyone else I travel 30 miles all round because I know they do a fab job.

Maria mended a Wedding outfit for me to wear in April. It was very delicate material and I had stood on the bottom of it and ripped it on New Years Eve. She did an excellent job for me, very quickly and only charged me a very nominal amount. She was very polite and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this lovely talented lady and would go to her again if I needed anything else altering.
