About Bentley Studios Manchester
Video production and digital media for businesses across Manchester and the North West. Brand films, social content, podcasts, livestreams, product photography, YouTube production, drone work - the full range, in-house, without the layers.
What makes the difference: 20 years as a commercial director and business owner before picking up a camera. Every brief gets treated as a commercial problem first, a creative one second. Content that doesn't perform isn't really content.
No account managers. No handoffs. Just the person who knows your brief doing the work.
Based at Bartle House, Manchester city centre. In-person across the UK.
Shoot days are planned in advance - properly. By the time we're on location, you know what we're making, why we're making it, and what it needs to do.
On the day itself: minimal disruption, no fuss, no crew of twelve turning your office into a film set.
Just focused, efficient production that respects your time and your team's.
Most clients are surprised how straightforward it is. That's the point.
I'm here to make sure you don't make these three common mistakes:
(1) Not asking who owns the footage. Usage rights, editing files, raw footage - a lot of videographers retain more than clients realise. Before you sign anything, know exactly what you're getting, what you can do with it, and what happens if you want to use it somewhere new in two years' time.
(2) Treating it as a one-off. One big shoot day, one video, job done. Except social media doesn't work like that. Sustainable content needs a sustainable approach - not a panic commission every six months.
(3) Leaving the brief too late. The production company turns up, points a camera at things, and everyone hopes for the best. A good videographer should be asking hard questions before a single light goes up. If they're not, that's a problem.
From brief to final cut.
Every project starts with a proper conversation - not a quote form, not a templated questionnaire. A real discussion about what you're trying to achieve and whether video is actually the right way to achieve it.
From there: a clear plan, agreed before anything gets filmed. Production handled in-house from start to finish. Delivery in the formats you need, for the platforms you're using.
No surprises on the invoice. No chasing for edits. No wondering where your project's got to.0 FreeIndex Reviews
