Bedford Tutor

My son has now been having tutoring with Bedford Tutor for a few months and it is already having a considerable impact on his confidence. He thoroughly enjoys the sessions and feels very comfortable with Annabel and Helena. For the first time in years he is beginning to enjoy writing again.

I am extremely impressed with the energy and enthusiasm shown towards my daughter who has been struggling at school. Annabel is dedicated to helping my daughter to learn- in response my daughter has responded so well to Annabel and it's a pleasure to see her enjoy learning.

My son is 10 years old, he is in a small primary school setting with the majority of kids in his year well above average. He has some sensory and processing difficulties but nothing to warrant additional assistance. Because of where he finds himself, slightly below average, the biggest impact is his low confidence and opinion of himself as a failure. Finding Annabel with her positive and upbeat approach to teaching has been amazing. We are so lucky to have found her to help with English. My son comes away from the lesson feeling so valued and enthusiastic. Annabel has the rare skill of making others feel good about themselves, so not only does my son improve his skills he feels good about it and keen to do it again. Thank you Annabel.

My son has been going to see Annabelle since the beginning of term and we can already see a huge improvement with his written work in these few weeks and cannot wait to see the end results. He loves going to his sessions and is full of enthusiasm on his way home. Annabelle is so lovely and engaging and clearly has a way of bonding with her students to get the best out of them. Annabel is an amazing tutor who, has an engagement with the children that I struggle to find with anyone else. She is a miracle worker who I find has an unlimited imagination to teach the children in a way they find fun and easy to learn, it's as if they are learning without realising it. She has very competitive fees that are affordable and reflects how she really loves what she does!

Amazing with my son and very creative. He said on the first day: “it’s so easy to understand things with her, I wish she was my teacher at school! ” Ever since we started has been a pleasure for him and us as she is also so easy to deal with. Would recommend her a million times.

Bedford Tutor continue to provide excellent English support for my two sons (aged 15 and 12 years). Annabel and Helena provide an interesting, supportive, fun and challenging learning environment, where the boys are keen to learn. Since their attendance at Bedford Tutor, both boys are more confident, self assured and positive in their approach to learning. Teachers observe that they are more focused in class and they are both attaining higher grades in all subjects. My sons look forward to their weekly tutoring sessions, which is a testament to the professionalism, dedication and commitment put in from Annabel and Helena. We could not ask for more. Wonderful tutor, my daughter loves going to her lessons! She always comes out from her lessons saying she wishes Annabel was her full time teacher at school and complains that the lessons are over to quick. Since being with Annabel my daughters confidence had grown and this has been reflected in her school reports. Keep up the fantastic work!

Such a lovely friendly tutor who really takes interest in your child. Annabelle really takes on board your child's difficulties and strengths and works a programme to suit their needs. My 5-year-old son has come on leaps and bounds since he started seeing Annabel and Helena last summer.
