Definitely recommend these guys. They fitted a fire door and rehung another door for me. Easy to communicate with. Did a lovely job and very quick about it. They'll be my first call if I need any more work done and I've already recommended to others.

Mark is brilliant! From minute one he was helpful with new ideas and suggestions. All the way through our project this continued and with great communication. They made sure our house was kept free of mess and that we were always up to date. We had a couple of extras done at the same time, this was not a problem and didn't cost the earth. We have recently had Mark and Jacob undertake all the second fix joinery in our listed property, including architrave, skirtings, hanging of solid oak barn doors, sliding doors, and oak bannisters. We are extremely pleased with the finished product and the care and attention to the work undertaken, cannot fault a thing! Mark and Jon have just replaced all our internal doors and fitted Howdens oak veneer doors. The work they’ve done is to a really high standard. Arrived early each day and worked tirelessly, without taking calls for other jobs whilst doing our job (makes a big difference). Tidy workers, and really nice guys to have working in our home. Mark and Jon have recently completed a full first floor refurbishment to our property replacing chipboard flooring and fitting new oak architraves, skirting boards and doors with bespoke handcrafted fitted wardrobe and full redecoration. Mark initially provided a realistic price for the works which were completed to a very high standard and on budget within the agreed timeframe. We wll be inviting Mark to return next year to continue on the ground floor and have no hesitation in recommending him to friends and family.

Mark and his team worked tirelessly to transform our master bedroom from a boring, beige space to a splendid room in keeping with the age and style of our house (and give us some much needed storage in the loft above). The standard of work is reflective of the fact that all who contributed to the project clearly enjoy their roles and take pride in their part of the process. As project manager (and skilled carpenter and general labourer), Mark ensured that everything ran smoothly and was happy for us to be involved throughout the process (despite the odd silly question here and there). He bought into and seemed to share our vision for the room and has delivered something that has exceeded our expectations. Mark and his team have just completed a small alteration job at my property. Replacing summer house doors. Fitting a roof lantern in kitchen ceiling, replacing lighting with LED lights, removing artex from ceiling and replastering ceiling. The team made an excellent. Job and I would definately use Mark again for further improvements. Also stuck to the initial quote.

New stud work wall within a vaulted space. Mark and Stuart were on site at 8am and worked solidly until the wall was up, left the space clean and tidy, did exactly as was requested and quoted for.

Mark and his team arrived punctually to start the job and they were on time every day regardless of the weather. They worked efficiently, skilfully and cheerfully, even though at times the weather outside was wet, windy and bitterly cold. The standard of workmaship was first rate. Mark Beck and his team have just completed building a new kitchen for me, with a tiled floor and laid wooden flooring and put in skirting boards in two other rooms. They also created a hearth for an existing fireplace. This has not been a straightforward project as none of the rooms are square and they unexpectedly had to lay a damp-proof membrane and new insulation and floorboards in two rooms before they could do any of the work they were engaged to do. Later in the time frame there was a problem with the wood for the flooring. There was no word of complaint either time, at the considerable hold up and personal inconvenience to them as they had to rearrange their original schedule. They could easily have refused to do this as it was outside their remit. Mark and Keith have a depth of knowledge and a wide skill set. Always willing to adapt original plans and offer advice in an unobtrusive way, if asked, and if needed. There were several aspects to the work, outside the project itself, which they noticed and dealt with. I had to leave them for a week half way through the project and did so with complete confidence which was well placed. Their workmanship and attention to detail is extremely good, they are hardworking and are scrupulous about cleaning the work area every day before they leave and causing as little disruption as possible. All the people in the team are very easy, friendly and approachable. I have no hesitation in recommending Mark Beck and his team. I am delighted with the results of their work!Moreexpand_more

Mark and Keith worked hard and diligently to construct a bespoke mezzanine floor with suspended walkway to an existing landing at my barn conversion to my complete satisfaction. Being a retired traditional boat builder myself with a critical eye I was impressed with their diligent approach, resourcefulness and attention to detail. I would have no hesitation in recommending their services to others.

We are extremely happy with the work Mark and his team carried out. They built an internal wall for us. They were prompt with their communication, hardworking, efficient and we are very pleased with the end result. It couldn’t have gone better. We would happily recommend them.

Mark and Keith have just finished a brilliant job creating cupboards in a room in our Nursery school. They did an excellent job and I would definitely recommend them.

Mark and Keith had a big job on their hands removing an internal load bearing wall to open up our home, on top of that they walled up two door ways and laid wood flooring throughout our ground floor. Mark advised it would take 3 weeks and he was spot on. Mark built shelving units in the fireplace alcoves of our Georgian house - the house was built in 1824 which means crooked angles, walls etc making all carpentry work quite challenging. Mark executed the project extremely professionally, including inbuilt LED lights and everything painted to a high standard. They really have transformed the room and we're very pleased with the end result. He also clears everything away each night and works quickly and efficiently - highly recommended. Mark is a talented carpenter who has a thoroughly competent team behind him. We were out of the country for the majority of the works and Mark kept us posted on progress throughout, even taking time to take pictures and email them to us. He was always quick to recommend ways to improve design and functionality and where that took him away from the original brief he did it without complaint and at no extra charge. I would recommend Mark without reservation, a credit to his profession I will definitely use him again in the future should the need arise.

Mark did a really good job installing boarding in my garage. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted to do with my garage and provided a solution to my exact requirements. Overall I am really happy and would it be happy to use BeckM in the future.

Mark came to our house and helped us decide on how to replace every internal door (21 in total) to a more solid and up to date design. Many of the doors needed extensive surgery to fit and it was done really well and in keepig with the overall degign of the standard door. Mark is a carpenter, not someonme who fits doors and he has empathy for what is required. He is a clean and diligent worker who did the job really well in the quotation agreed. Note we did have to fund the job whilst in progress so be prepared top make installments to assist with cashflow.
