As the owner of a Letting Agency it is essential to have access to a reliable and trustworthy general builder. Ben at B D Works provides this. Usually he is able to take care of a problem the same day and at most 24 hours. Highly recommended.

I've used BD works several times now and cannot praise Ben enough. The last job he did for me was to remove some ugly surface mounted pipework which was fouling access to my washing machine, (due to a new kitchen being fitted). The new pipework was then adhered to the skirting profile thus rendering it almost invisible. This was a great piece of problem solving; aesthetically the job looked really good as all other options were not open to us. He was quick, tidy and very professional. Worth every penny!

Ben Dillon at BD Works has done various jobs for us over the past few years at our tenanted properties in Plymouth, from tiling, plumbing and decorating to electrical work and repairs. All Ben's work, without exception, has been of a very high standard. We've found him to be totally reliable, flexible, prompt, friendly and extremely helpful - he's never once let us down. He's developed excellent relationships with our tenants, and both we and our tenants know we can trust Ben completely with keys, access and leaving the place clean and tidy afterwards. Ben uses what seems to be extensive experience of property maintenance in general and tenanted properties in particular to advise us on long-term solutions rather than bodge-it quick-fixes (though he'll also do those if we insist! ), and uses his initiative to suggest solutions we may not have thought of and bring issues to our attention that we may not have been aware of. When treating a damp problem in one of our properties, he advised the tenants on ventilation, airing, etc, in exactly the way we would have done had we been there. In contrast with some other tradespeople, we've never felt remotely ripped off by Ben and have always been really pleased with what he's done. We'd recommend him wholeheartedly.
