The crew is amazing, great to work with, very fast moving and tidy. They care about details and work up to high standards. We got a two storey extension done, with old garage demolition and internal work done too (like chimney breasts removal, creating open plan). It looks fantastic, like the extension was part of the original house all the time. Very knowledgeable, knew how to cover up issues not detected by our architect and structural engineer. Care about good client relationships, when we asked to be careful with our peaky neighbor, they really did their best with being careful and tidying their side every day. Highly recommended, we are very lucky we could hire BCS CAMBS to get our project in place, wouldn't change them for anyone else, will be coming back for other projects in the future should we have any.

We recently employed BCS to carry out renovations, including creating an open plan kitchen/dining/living space downstairs, new windows and doors, a porch and decorating throughout most of the house. Witold and his team were excellent. They worked long hours, were polite, tidied up after every day and communication was excellent when there was a challenge or change needed. The job came in on budget and I would have no problem recommending Witold to others or indeed using him again.

BCS Cambs have recently finished a large extension to our cottage in Ashwell. I first heard about Witold and his team a few years ago and having witnessed 3 previous jobs that they did for close friends and family, I had no hesitation in engaging them to handle the work on the cottage. Their work is exemplary and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Nothing is too much trouble and Witold is very definitely a 'can do' guy. Inevitably, customers want to make changes as the job progresses, and Witold and his team were always ready to step up to the mark with very helpful suggestions. On time, on budget and very fair. I would have no hesitation in using their services again.

BCS was recommended to us by our architect to build a single-storey extension comprising an extension to our kitchen, a new reception room and a cloakroom. Additional work we requested included installing new flat roofing and fitting/finishing new internal doors. Witold and his team were extremely hard-working, putting in long days to finish the work. They have great attention to detail and always kept the dust and mess to a minimum. We are very pleased with the work and the fact the project came in on budget. We would use BCS again and highly recommend them.

BCS were recommended to us by friends and they did not disappoint. The quality of their work is excellent, they worked extremely hard and delivered on time and on budget. They completely renovated our 3-bedroomed house, replacing the roof and ceilings, removing carpets, sanding and varnishing floorboards, replacing doors, fitting a new kitchen, bathroom and double-glazing throughout the house. They also managed the rewiring and re-plumbing of the whole house. They also re-plastered and decorated every room to an excellent standard.

I chose BCS after watching my them construct a ground floor extension for a neighbour - the project came to fruition in a timely and professional manner and during the build work I noted how hard-working and courteous all the builders working for BCS were, and the end project a definite success. I've found the same to be true for the ground floor structural re-modelling that I engaged BCS Cambridge to undertake for us; right from the start Witold and his team have worked extremely hard to make the project a success and have always been a pleasure to deal with. No unreturned calls, hidden surprises etc - just hard work starting most days at 0700 and finishing sometimes 11-12 hours later. BCS put some long hours in to keep things moving quickly, often working weekends and bank holidays and I never once got the impression that they were flitting from job to job and doing our work when they could be bothered. The majority of serious structural work we had done was deliberately timed to coincide with a holiday abroad, and while we were away we found that our structural engineer (note - not BCS) had completely let us and BCS down by not completing relevant drawings on time. I think many builders would have simply stopped the job and waited for me to return and sort out the mess, but Witold went the extra mile as a Project Manager to locate and employ a new structural engineer on our behalf so that work could proceed with only minimal delay and we wouldnt need to come back to a house in pieces. A big thank you for that, and very highly recommended by me for any future work - a great team of guys who can manage everything you need doing.

Witold and crew put in a light tunnel, window, interior door and some other bits and pieces. I would thoroughly recommend them - professional, easy to work with and very reasonably priced. Will definitely use again.

Witold and his team did great work for us, mostly stud walls, second fix carpentry and plasterboarding. Overall they were reliable and easy to deal with, did good quality work and were tidy as well. We plan to ask them to do more work further down the line.

We employed BCS for a complete renovation for our rather dated bungalow. Witold and his team literately gutted the whole house. Walls were knocked down, a high step from the living room to the dining room got levelled, new windows and doors were put in, an old wooden utility room was knocked down and properly bricked up, bathrooms and ensuite turned from ugly ducklings into beautiful swans, all sanitary ware was installed, tiles were laid down to perfection, also patio slabs with a beautiful pattern, driveway got newly cemented, the kitchen got fitted perfectly, new plumbing throughout the whole house. We highly recommend BCS and his workers. They always arrived on time, worked hard and very disciplined ( they also clean up afterwards ). Witold is very reliable a perfectionist in his trade and a very friendly, nice guy. He ALWAYS calls or text you back instantly, which is to me the 8th world wonder for a builder ? . The degree of work is of a very high standard. We are happy to pass on our experience to anybody. We know how much time and energy this job demanded and we deeply appreciate all efforts and achievements. We had started building an extension to our house which included a kitchen/dining area, patio and a wet room where the old kitchen used to be. Unfortunately due to illness we could not complete it and so needed builders to finish a lot of the work. BCS were very reasonably priced and Witold and his team have done a great job that we are very pleased with. We would thoroughly recommend BCS for all building work.

We used BCS to refit my sons bathroom/shower in his house and an excellent job was done and witold couldn't have been more helpful. We went on to have various carpentry and decorating repairs and also new fencing and decking in the garden. Would definitely recommend. Ashley and gary doctors.

We did garage conversion into a room plus kitchen extension and we are so happy about. Bcs provided a contact for good architect. The time wasted was less than we expected and we were pleased for that. The team was working hard every day to finish on time. They been always on time at home and they were very tidy and organised. The team always asked for our opinion but also give us good advices in terms of materials or quality.

We employed BCS to implement the conversion of our attic. The work was carried out on time and to budget. Once onsite their team worked tirelessly and were fully committed to this job. They were able to make the most of very constrained spaces and to overcome practical difficulties encountered in construction. We are very pleased with the result.

Our Loft was completed by BCS It took us ages to finally choose builders to convert our loft. Initially BCS wasn't our first choice as we were recommended other builders by my sister in law, however when we received quotes BCS proposed price was much closer to our budget. I contacted few previews clients of this company and went to see completed projects. The quality of work truly surprised me. I met with project manager few times to discuss development details before signing the contract. As it turned out, I had nothing to worry about: project was completed in 6 weeks (we have double loft conversion) by friendly, profesional and super tidy team, with minor disruption to our family. I highly recommend this company and i am happy to show my loft.

We are first time home owner and we wanted to convert our garage into an extra room with an en suite bathroom. BCS Cambridge was recommended to us by a family friend. However, we were initially unsure because someone else recommended another big name builder firm to us at the same time. However after talking to both firms, Witold, the head of the BCS Cambridge, impressed us instantly by his friendly and considerate attitude. After the work was commissioned, not only BCS Cambridge built our conversion ahead of schedule, Witold went out of his way to make sure the new conversion integrated well with our existing house. He also take good care of the surrounding of the building area and most importantly, he and his team demonstrate discipline (they come to work every day before 9am), hard work and being extremely professional. I was prepared for the worst after hearing all the builder nightmare from friends. However, BCS Cambridge has proved realising your dream does not have to be a painful experience. 2 bathrooms refurbished, rewire and house redesign in 2011. Work done to time budget and great quality. Really good value and workmanship. Will be using them again and that's the first time I've said that about builders.

My small terraced 3 bedroom house was refurbished with new kitchen, bathroom, sanded floors, plastering and decorating. I had some carpentry done and an extension ladder to the loft installed. The work was done within the budget and the time agreed and I was happy with the work.

Coming highly recommended by my next door neighbour who had her whole house renovated by Building & Construction Services, I asked them to convert my Attic and paint all my exterior windows. The quote given was competitive and the work was completed to a high standard on time - the company even brought in a couple of extra workers to ensure the deadlines were met for no additional cost to me - pretty rare these days. I'm now using my Attic as an exercise room - money well spent! Highly recommended - you won't find harder workers anywhere.
