I've used Barnham Trailer Hire four times. They have consistantly provided a very good service, reasonably priced and good quality well-maintained trailers. I've moved the contents of a flat, garden buildings, an antique Landrover and a huge Chevrolet C10 Pickup, all without a problem. Happy to recommend this local company.

So disappointed on Saturday when I used BTH for the second time. Booked a trailer from 12 noon, was quoted £40 for a days hire and got there to find out it had been rented out to someone else. I had grovelled to get 6 people to help me move what needed moving and would only take two hours! The trailer came back eventually at 2pm, I had to go back again to collect it - I personally would have offered to drop it off, and used the trailer for a total of two hours, but having inconvenienced people willing to give up their time for a total of 5 hours. When I returned the trailer I fully expected not to be charged because of the inconvenience, but no all I got was 'Do you need a receipt' - really greedy as he had obviously already been paid by the guy who took it to London. Absolutely disgusted by this poor customer service - will not use or recommend again!
Response : Thank you for your review Rachel but as you know that you did say 12 which is when the trailer should have been returned by the customer in the morning. I do not usually do half days at the weekend but was happy to try to accommodate you on a Saturday afternoon and was also happy to let you have the trailer for £25 of which you paid £20, also with the use of four 14 ft straps free of charge nor did't I even remark about the condition of the trailer upon return which was very poor. It was a shame that the trailer was not there for you at 12 but I did explain to you that I did not have your telephone number to inform you of the half day in the morning. The customer in the morning was delayed In traffic, I did apologies at the time. What a shame that you felt so unhappy to put a bad review for me as I was genuinely trying to do as much as I could for you. In future if you would like to go to Blendeorth or Universal trailers I am sure they will also do there best to help you all the best Jonathan.Moreexpand_more
