Mark carried out an Electrical Installation Condition Report for me. I felt his advice was genuine and trustworthy. The remedial work was carried out to an excellent standard. Mark was always on time, the communication was great, and he was tidy and extremely professional.
Bailey Pollock provided a number of electrical services for us - including fitting of underfloor heating in two rooms, replacement of electrical sockets and light switches and repairs to downlighting. They carried out the work when they said they would, to time and with a high degree of professional expertise. This was a satisfying and trouble-free experience.
Mark Pollock installed a range of lighting on my roof terrace. He took great care researching available lighting to ensure that I was happy that it matched the high standard I wanted. He made sure the cables and sockets were placed unobtrusively and in the exact positions we had agreed and I am very happy with the finished result.
A new lighting system was needed in our church and Mark took on the job. He sourced hand made lights and shelves for us, he communicated with the craftsman and took delivery of the goods. He fitted the lights and has done a great job. He undertook the job with enthusiasm and we are so pleased with the final result.
Mark Pollock was recommended to us by neighbours who were very pleased with the quality of his work. Our work involved the supply and installation of electrical supply to our summerhouse and garden shed. Mark provided exceptional service. He arrived when he said he would, the job took the two days that he said it would and the quality of workmanship was of the very high order we were led to expect. Mark is someone who gets on with the job without fuss and in a quiet and efficient manner. He did everything he could do to fit in with our busy lives, took great care to carry out a neat and efficient installation and ensured everything worked satisfactorily before leaving us. We contacted him the next day with a query. He responded immediately with advice and we were able to resolve the matter quickly and simply. We are more than happy to recommend Mark Pollock to anyone considering electrical work. Cherry Taylor.Moreexpand_more
Mark Pollock, from Bailey Pollock Electrical Services, put up 3 new light fittings, (and gave me the necessary hooks needed to fit them). He also fitted a dimmer switch and checked some light sockets. Mark is extremely professional, punctual, knowledgeable and courteous. This is the second time I have used the services of Bailey Pollock Electrical Services, having chosen them originally as they are vetted by Trading Standards to help people find trusted and reputable tradespeople. I have no hesitation in recommending them.
Our old CH/HW timer needed to be replaced, and despite the wiring/configuration being somewhat unusual and challenging, Mark was up to the task and persevered to ensure everything was functioning correctly. As per the other reviews, Mark was punctual, polite, and kept the work area tidy.
I had 2 sockets moved to new location with additional socket and connection for cooker hood installed, also installed a new fusebox which Mark clearly marked up what each circuit was for and tested, Mark is very efficent, friendly and arrived on the time arranged and reasonably priced, can certainly recommend.
Having recently moved to Hove, finding a tradesman is both tricky and risky. Thankfully, we found Mark. Mark is professional, punctual, methodical and meticulous and always finds a solution when there appears to be none. He also always makes good and leaves your home neat and tidy. Mark also has a tradesman's parking permit which means no "Do you have a resident's vistor permit? " or "Oh! I just have to run out and check the parking on the van! ' conversations. His toolbox is an Aladdin's cave of enticing goodies, all organised with military precision and very pleasing if you like that kind of thing (and, apparently, a good way to check the professionalism of a trader). Be warned though: He is very particular about how he drinks his tea! Thanks for all your help and hard work to date, Mark. I only wish you were a plumber too.Moreexpand_more
After having electrics for a new extension, outside lighting and a new consumer unit poorly installed by a previous contractor, Mark identified and corrected an extensive number of faults, bringing our electrics up to building regulations standard quickly and professionally. He communicated complex problems in an easy to understand way, allowing us to discuss the most cost effective and least disruptive solutions at every stage. Reliable, professional and trustworthy. Also, a nice guy to chat to - and leaves things as he finds them (clean and tidy).
As with other reviwers, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Mark to others. I have always been very happy with the work Mark has done for us, we have used his services on a number of occasions, firstly to rewire our kitchen, and then on a number of smaller jobs, and I'm sure we will again in the future. He completes all work to a very high standard, and leaves our home clean and tidy. He is prompt, efficient, trustworthy, and provides excellent advice, which all adds up, not only to excellent value for money, but also, (and perhaps more importantly) to excellent peace of mind. As another reviewer stated - "this is how it should be done".
