Simon sorted my no signal and picture disappearing problems. My old Sky dish was replaced with a new Satellite one and I have purchased a Freesat box to go under the tv. He said this will sort all the problems I have been having. I can thoroughly recommend Simon for his work and punctuality. Thank you.
We had for sometime been regularly losing our signal and had no idea why. When we contacted Simon he explained clearly his pricing structure and was able to visit later the same day. Although we suspected we needed a new aerial after looking for the problem he tracked it down and told us it was not necessary to change the aerial. He solved our problem and is a good worker and is a pleasant and genuine man. His pricing is very fair and we have no hesitation in recommending him.
Simon from Ashford Vision was professional and courteous. We had an old aerial taken down from the roof as it was attracting too many birds sitting on it creating a mess below. Also, we had recently moved into the property and we noticed we weren't receiving many of the channels. We had a new aerial fitted in the loft. Although, Simon also gave us a quote to reinstall the old aerial into the loft. We decided against it as the old aerial was very dirty with birds mess from many years. We're really pleased with Simon's work and would recommend him. Quick reply and efficient service.
Emailed Simon work I needed doing and I got a response really quickly and giving advice on what can be done. Simon arrived on time and was very polite/friendly when doing the job. Kept a clean and tidy workspace, leaving nothing behind. Work was completed efficiently and to a very high standard. Highly recommend! Will be using his services if I need in the future.
Simon is a great guy and we wouldn’t hesitate recommending him to others. He’s very knowledgeable in his line of business and he takes the time to explain what needs to be done and what he intends to do to rectify the problem. I looked around for a local Aerial company and read positive reviews about Ashford Vision. I rang Simon and got an answerphone message to email him, which I did explaining the issues. He got back to me and we agreed a date and time. He arrived as arranged, quickly assessed the situation, and reassured me then set about testing. The loft ladder was already down with loft light on, and after his inspection and test equipment to determine the best signal, it was agreed that a new indoor aerial fitted in the loft space, would be the way forward. The poor man had to crawl about on the boarded loft with shallow head space, filled with fibreglass insulation and dust, and contort himself behind the big water tank. He fitted the new 'Rolls Royce' aerial above him, and replaced the various existing connectors. Then tested in every room upstairs and downstairs where there was a TV plug, plus the old TV, but a new one is now definitely required. It was a bitterly cold day in February 2025, but mercifully remained dry, as Simon then went outside and climbed the extension ladder on to the flat roof, to remove the external defunct aerials and wires fixed on the tall metal pole, situated on the pillar at the front of the house. It was duly removed, after cutting the metal pole in half, and the stubborn metal fixings in the brickwork finally succumbed after much persistence, knashing of teeth, a crowbar and sheer brute force. Debris all now laying on the front lawn for removal, by a man who comes round afterwards to collect metalwork. The original estimated price of the job came over, which was understandable, due to the various difficulties Simon had to overcome, plus the extra time it took. A very nice man to deal with. He talked the job through as he went along explaining everything to me in a straightforward manner and was also happy to talk tech to my Son over the phone before he left, and so I was left feeling relieved that I had chosen Ashford Vision and Simon to undetake the work. I paid into the Business Account by Bank Transfer the same day. These jobs are never straightforward but Simon was not phased by anything, and we made a good team on the day. Simon has fixed my tv problems twice in the last year; different problems. On both occasions he was able to come within a day or two. He was very professional and friendly. He explained everything to me in a way I could understand and completed the work within an hour.
Phoned Ashford Vision re TV interference, Simon explained costings, we agreed a next day visit he phoned to check if timing was still ok and arrived within 10 minutes. Over sole shoe coverings on within 10 minutes he had the problem solved, he informed me of total cost, having finished he checked the TV readjusted it all. A top job, very polite, knew the answers and did a very good job. Recommend him to all.
Emailed Ashford vision on Monday morning. Simon called me a hour later and explained my options and prices. Called back to book work to be completed next day. Simon turned up at the exact time agreed and completed all work in a clean and tidy manner. Simon is a nice guy and you won’t be disappointed in choosing Ashford vision. Excellent price,excellent service, we now have a excellent tv signal.
Simon arrived bang on time, removing our current wall mounted TV and replacing it with a brand new one just purchased, completing the job in the time quoted at a competitive price. I found him extremely professional and friendly it’s no wonder his reviews are so positive, I would recommend him without hesitation, as a footnote he also sorted out a connection problem on our lounge TV at no additional cost, couldn’t ask for more.
