About Artist Kate Marr
“Life by the sea and the atmospheric weather of the Dorset coastline and surrounding areas inspire my paintings. Whether I am outside working en plein air or in the studio, capturing the beautiful essence of the world is my focus in painting. I work with different media including oils, acrylic inks and watercolours. ” -Kate Marr.
Kate Marr is a professional contemporary artist from Bournemouth, and has worked as an artist for over the last decade since completing a Fine Art BA (Hons) degree at Plymouth University. She loves to create atmospheric pieces, and paints dramatic seascapes and landscapes from Dorset and beyond.
