Art of Framing

I contacted Mark after a particular print. Mark didn’t stock the print as it was a new release, however he ordered the print and then framed this for me. It took roughly three weeks for Mark to do this which I thought was quick.

Mark has framed a few pictures for us and always does a superb job. He takes the time to show you various frames, mat and glass options. The photos of our children he framed look great in our lounge and will be going back to him the next time we invest in a new piece of artwork or photo.

We had a great deal of excellent advice on framing the artwork we brought in. The finished work looks stunning and is as fabulous as we hoped it would be. We would recommend Mark for any framing job. There are some fine examples on display in the shop and the choice of frames and styles is extensive.

We had a much loved painting re-framed and we are delighted. Mark patiently gave us advice on colour mounts and frames and we are glad we listened to him because he obviously knew what would work best. The standard of workmanship is excellent and the painting has a new lease of life. We will definitely trust and use 'Art of Framing' again and highly recommend their services.

Excellent service and superb quality of the framed picture. I opted For Art of Framing whilst trying to get a picture framed urgently as a gift and found Mark to be incredibly helpful and flexible. He was happy to fulfil my original request but gave some honest advice which I took about not rushing a decision. I'm glad I did as the completed frame was perfect. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with the finished product, so many frames to choose from but the shop were very helpful and tried several frames around the print before I decided. It took a week to be completed which is exactly what they told me so very happy with the service.

I was given a M C F C Football Shirt signed by Sergio Aguero. I went to A of F for ideas on framing it. They were very helpful and the end product they came up with was GREAT! And the picture is now proudly displayed on my son's Bedroom Wall. You can feel confident when going to this Shop that you will get a good job done at a fair price.

Had 3ft x 2ft feature film poster framed. The standard of work and service was outstanding. Amazed how an £8 poster can end up looking so expensive when framed so professionally. Somehow I got lumbered with the job of getting a football shirt signed by Kenny Dalglish framed for my MD's 50th birthday - NO PRESSURE! Mark provided great guidance and help. The finished article was amazing. Will definitely use their services again! 10/10.

I chose the Art of Framing based on both Mark's expertise in frming oil paintings and based on the excellent reviews rather than using services closer to my home. I am so delighted that I did. Mark gave exceptional advice as to what frames and finishes would be appropriate and clearly explaining the differences between various glass types (although Mark kindly did advise me that for oil paintings glass is not always required, (which personally to me proves he is a master craftsman and not "all about the money" unlike some). I am absolutely delighted with the service I have received and the end product and the communication I received. Service was exceptional - such much so that Mark even brought my picture to me rather than me struggling on crutches to pick it up !

Although I had framed my father's and my Grand father's medals myself, I felt my efforts did not do justice to such memorable and personal items. I spoke with Art of Framing and they recommended the two sets were separated and produce two bespoke frames to display them. Following their advice was the best thing I ever did with both frames now proudly hanging in my hall for all to see. A fabulous job, thank you.
