I asked Myles to paint my beautiful dog from my all time favourite picture of him. It was the first time I’ve ever commissioned a piece of art, and for me there was emotional investment in it as well as financial as my dog is no longer with me. My expectations of the end result were incredibly high. I needed to look at the painting and see ‘my’ dog, exactly as he was in the photo, and not just see a dog that looked very ‘like’ him. Myles did not let me down, and I can only describe the end result as amazing. Myles captured the soulfulness of the eyes, and created something I will treasure forever. Myles describes his talent humbly as a ‘gift’. I’d describe it as phenomenal. In terms of service, Myles was a pleasure to deal with. There was no pressure, he listened to what I wanted exactly, and he shared progress updates with me (images of the painting in stages as he created it) which was something I had specially requested. And which made the whole experience of commissioning something so personal and special even more exciting. Our portrait is one of the best things we have purchased. Myles took the time and effort to show us his work who's his absolutely fabulous. We are getting arrived in September and will be getting one of our pictures done by Myles for sure.

I contacted Myles in order to commision a portrait of my brother-in-law and his great hero John Wayne in oils for his 70th birthday. The portrait was outlined in my original email and then discussed further when Myles rang me. The portrait went through three revisions which eventually allowed Myles to finish the painting. He was able through great skill and talent to provide me with the perfect gift, at a very reasonable cost, for a man who can buy anything he wants (christmas in vegas january birthday in Hawaii etc). Myles has painted a lovely landscape picture of a family painting that had to go to auction. It is fabulous and evokes good memories. He is a very gifted painter and I strongly recommend 'Paint you Pictures' for any artisitic work that people require. The only problem was that I did not get the portrait for Christmas but because it is so wonderful and Myles would not compromise on the quality by rushing so it was well worth the wait. I have commissioned Myles to paint a special picture that we had in the family but could not afford to buy for ourselves at the sale. The Paint Your Pictures is brilliant!

I contacted Myles at paintyourpictures in early November to commission a painting which would be a composite of three individual photos (a couple, a pet and a landscape). Myles was very helpful and clear in instruction, asking questions to ensure that the picture was exactly as I anticipated. He began work immediately and committed to a 4 week time frame which in fact he delivered ahead of schedule. On final approval, I was delighted with how well he captured the composite of all three photos and produced a beautiful painting. The painting was delivered in perfect condition and has been met with overwhelming approval and appreciation from the family, for whom it was a surprise Christmas present. Myles' communication was excellent throughout and I was very happy from start to finish. I would not hesitate to recommend Myles and the website to my friends and family and would certainly ask him to do similar work myself int eh future.

Myles was able to combine 3 different photos of me, my brother and my dad to make it look as though we had all been stood together when painted. It was amazingly life like and a great birthday present for my dad. I had never thought of having something like this done before, but the quality and service were second to none. A brilliant job.

We are very happy with the portrait painting Myles did for us of our baby. He worked from a photograph and the likeness and quality is great, he really captured Islas character and smile, bringing it to life more than the photo could. We'd never considered using such a service but when Myles said that he could paint a picture in a magazine we'd seen, then I was keen, if a bit apprehensive about what the outcome would be. I should not have been. The result was amazing. We are so delighted with the painting that has been done for us, I'm now constantly looking for something else that he can do! So happy with our wonderful painting. It was exactly what we asked for. Working with Myles was a pleasure he spent a great deal of time and effort discussing and researching our requirements and providing some really good ideas for us. Myles also kept us up to date on the progress of our painting and went the extra mile to find us exactly the frame we had been looking for.

Myles have done 5 portraits for my family. All of them were absolutely brilliant. Couldn't ask for anything more or better.

Myles completed a portrait of my girls from two different photographs, any adjustments needed were no problem. He captured their personalities on the canvas so well, a second portrait was completed for my mother.

I had a picture of my grandaughter painted as a special gift for my son and his partner. They were over the moon with the result. It is displayed in pride of place in their home and everyone who comes in makes a comment on how beautiful it is. I knew from the samples that Miles and Albert showed me that it would be good but the finished work was just perfect. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Paint your Pictures to anyone, and I will certaninly use them again in the future.

Wasn't too sure about our family portrait at first, the family was divided as to whether or not they thought it was a good representation, we each had our own thoughts on what needed doing to it. Myles listened to what we each had to say, took it away and re touched parts that we thought didn't look right. The result was a well painted portrait that we all like. The Hay family of Meols.
