About Art Classes for Children by Sally Goulding
Key Services :
Hi! We're Sally and Andy Goulding and we're artists with over 25 years experience (each! ) in drawing, watercolours, acrylics and murals. We specialise in private art tutoring for children with a maximum of 8 pupils per class. Younger classes are specifically aimed at ages 7 - 11 and the older classes for 12 - 16 year olds. No experience is necessary. Children will learn from the beginning or build upon what they know.
Several classes are available throughout the week. The children with improve their drawing and observation skills and master watercolour techniques (ages 7 - 11) or acrylics (ages 12 - 16). Our classes offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere to children and they learn in an enjoyable relaxed way while still producing impressive results.
Classes last an hour and are payable in blocks of 4 weeks. The first 4 week block due on the first class.
RED PACKAGE (Beginners Watercolours Age 7 - 11) - £13. 50 a week payable in blocks of 4 weeks (£54 every 4 weeks).
* Pupils provide their own materials. A list of the necessary items provided.
YELLOW PACKAGE (Beginners Watercolours Age 7 - 11) - £15.00 a week payable in blocks of 4 weeks (£60 every 4 weeks).
* All materials provided for use (during class only).
BLUE PACKAGE (Intermediate drawing and beginners Acrylics Age 12 - 16) - £15.00 a week payable in blocks of 4 weeks (£60 every 4 weeks).
* All materials are provided for use (during class only).
GREEN PACKAGE (Intermediate drawing and beginners Acrylics Age 12 - 16) - £15.00 a week payable in blocks of 4 weeks - Classes follow a 3 weeks on / 1 week off pattern. (£45 every 4 weeks).

Palettes, cloths, water jars, work boards and paper are provided for every class.
Sibling discounts available.
Taster sessions available for £15.00 (Please note these can only be offered when a place becomes free in class).

Sally has a lovely approach with children. She teaches my daughter new art techniques, which are often quite complex ideas, in a clear, easy to understand way whilst also offering great advice and encouragement. Highly recommended.

Over ten years ago Sally painted portraits of my dogs, she really captured their essence and character and I was delighted with the results. Sally is a super talent lady and I wouldn't hesitate to use her again. The pictures still take pride and place in my home today.

We received a wedding gift which was a painting of the church we were married in, painted by sally. It is a beautiful reminder of our special day and is pride of place on our wall. Sally is a lovely person and is very caring and patient and I would have absolutely no problems in recommending her.

We commissioned Sally for a mural on our sons wall. She spent her time with myself and my son before hand to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted. She was very patient and attentive to what my son wanted she listened to him and made him feel very much a part of the whole process and provided us with exactly what we wanted for a reasonable price.

Sally is not only a great artist but most importantly a great teacher! She showed my 7 year old various painting techniques that were fun to learn and useful for a life of art. Cannot recommend enough, these classes are well worth every penny!
