We are extremely satisfied with the work performed - the restoring the chimney top, restoring the fireplace inside and last but not least removing the brickwork from an old door and the bridging across the window. Crossing cottage is back to its original splendor!
The company restored Bath store at the front of our 17th century country hotel over Dec & Jan 2010 -2011. The work was delayed due to the extreme cold weather but Armstrong continued on & kept us updated and also were very understanding of us being an operational hotel and working around this. Very pleased with the price and they were flexible in what became an evolving project.
Andy was asked to carve our house name into the bathstone of our Edwardian house above our front door. I was very fussy about the script (to make sure it is appropriate etc) and anxious about the outcome because if it wasn't right, it would be irreversible. Andy and Natalia couldn't have been more helpful, suggesting scripts and making several changes in the design process until I had something I liked. Andy also did a 'mock up' for me before he started to be sure I was 100% happy. The finished product is really lovely and I'm delighted with the finished product. Very happy to recommend.
We have no hesitation recommending Armstrong Masonry. They have recently completed a bespoke artistically led project for the School of Pathology at Oxford University and their workmanship, attitude and commitment has been outstanding throughout. The complexity of the design was no problem, neither the exacting and demanding nature of the job. They showed complete professionalism and pride in their work. We look forward to working again with Armstrong Masonry at the earliest opportunity. Ackroyd & Harvey.
