Arkbound is just like an oasis in a desert of mean and suffocating social norms and prejudices in which so many talented people who are disadvantaged or have barriers simply can't survive and grow. One year ago I still thought I could never get anywhere with art and writing, felt very inhibited and like wasting my time being creative. But the turning point was winning in the Arkbound writing competition last Christmas… Now I have my own art gallery, lots of short stories and poems, even three quaters of my first novel ready! I just feel like a human being again, whatever the future will hold for me now….
