I teach English at GCSE and A-Level, and English Literature at GCSE, as well as the following - BEC, BULATS, CAE, CPE, EFL, FCE, IGCSE, IELTS, KET, PET, TOEFL, TOEIC. I also teach Aviation English, Banking English and Business English.

I also teach Business Studies at GCSE/A-level, French at GCSE, Geography at GCSE/A-level, History at GCSE/A-level, Politics at GCSE/A-level and Religious Studies (Ethics and Philosophy) at GCSE.

I have been a personal tutor for many years, with students achieving high grades. Many of my students have gone to university, and have achieved very good degrees. Some have gone on to becoming doctors, radiographers, pharmacologists and some have achieved high ranking positions within the NHS.

I believe that in order to learn, you have to have confidence. With that in mind I instill in each and every student the belief that they can succeed, that they can realise their ambitions, and achieve their goals. I help them to realise their full potential by being kind and encouraging. Through hard work and maximum effort, each student will be more confident, articulate, and well-placed to find their place in life.

TEFL qualified. I enjoy watching cricket, especially at Test level. I am a published aviation author, and very well-travelled.

I enjoy the Arts - very different types of music, from symphonic metal to the opera. Too, I enjoy most art forms - paintings, sculpture etcl.
