Wouldn't have known where to start with any of our plans but Iain Penman came recommended to us by our builder and so glad he did. He understood exactly what we wanted to achieve with our garage conversion and completed all of the necessary paperwork and association with the council planning department, quickly completing everything and getting all of the necessary information to our builder. Like many other people we were trying to find an architect for our extension. We were recommended Iain from Architectural Plans by a friend who had recently used him. We had a fairly good idea what we wanted and with Iain’s input he changed a few things round and we are very happy with the end result. We wanted a rear and partial side extension and a roofline which would not obscure our back bedroom window and would have as little impact on our neighbours as possible. The result is we have a great extra living space along with a good sized shower room and utility room. Iain took full advantage of the extra ceiling height in all rooms and we now have a coombed ceiling in our living space with French doors making it a fantastic extra space. We are absolutely delighted with the work Iain Penman has carried out for us, from our first meeting he listened to what we needed/wanted to achieve from our extension and came up with the perfect plans for us giving us a large kitchen with dining area, large utility room with area for grooming our dogs and a workshop/garage.
