ARC Electrical Chester

We had a problem with one of our sockets circuits flipping out at the fuse box. Very prompt response (Tom came round later that afternoon after I had left a message on his mobile), he fixed it and then also explained what the problem had been. Really good all round.

Had an electricity problem that started on Friday night, which meant there was no electricity and heat in the house. Called about the next day in an effort to locate an electrician who could come assess the problem. I was informed that either they don't work on weekends or the quoted visit charge is too high. I was finally able to contact Tom for Arc Electric Chester. I described the scenario, and after 20 minutes, he arrived. Discovered that the issue was caused by one of the old fridges in the garage. Once disconnected, everything was restored to working order. Furthermore, it was a day after the washing machine quit functioning. Once more called Tom for assistance. Tom came by and found that the issue was with one of the safety switches on the wall being off. Outstanding service, not to mention the cost and customer service. I cannot recommend Tom highly enough. He fitted hard wired smoke alarms and checked that electrical work previously carried out was safe. He is very professional and reliable and I will be recommending him to friends and asking him to complete all my future electrical work.

Tom replaced the landing and passage lights. Sounds simple enough however due to the age of property and quality of wiring It was a far more complexed job. Tom was professional and did a really good job. I would recommend Tom without any hesitation.

Couldn't recommend ARC Electrical enough. Tom replaced a single dull pendant light on the landing for four great spot lights. He also moved two light switches to alternative walls in other rooms. Tom came out to look at the job and provided a really competitive quote. He was polite, showed interest and was grateful to be given the job. Our electricity went off yesterday and us being in our 70’s. Couldn’t identify the problem, so got number for ARC from Huntington and Boughton mag. We rang the mobile number and spoke to Tom, who came out, sourced the problem and fixed it. Omg what a professional, well mannered and thoughtful guy. Tom is. Clean, efficient and professional. Tom has rewired all our home lighting to LED to conform with all standards. Where plastering was required, Tom enlisted the help of a colleague to provide an excellent finish. Worth waiting for and provides good value for money.

We needed a new socket fitting, and an existing socket and light fitting moving due to some re-modelling that was being carried out. Tom turned up on time to give us a quote, which was the best one we had. He turned up to do the work on the day we'd arranged, despite Chester being gridlocked due to the races. The work was completed in no time at all, and was neatly done, holes in the floor repaired etc. We've already recommended him to a friend, and would have no hesitation in having him back to do work the next time it's needed.

Tom in the last three months has done three independent jobs on my Chester home. I have run a interior design showroom in london for 25 plus years, I found Tom to be as good or better than guys I use in London or have done so, his work is up to the minute with codes and standards of practice, and above all clean and tidy, and most reasonable priced, not as some high price and poor quality shoddy work I would most definately use him again or highly recommend him to others.

Tom did a great job for us, putting in a new socket into our hallway. His work was high quality, and made sure all the disruption of taking up floor boards to put in new wiring was returned to the same condition he found it. I found it difficult to find an electrician to come out to look at a socket which wasn't working. Tom fitted it around his contracting work rather than turning the work down which was great. It was fixed quickly and charged at a good rate. Tom was friendly and helpful in offering advise about other things. I will definitely be using Tom Again.
