Our washing machine had to be returned after only five weeks use. We could not change the settings on the spin cycle and the rubber seal on the drum was already shedding grey powder and the drum would not turn properly when empty. Bosch engineer deemed it unfit for use. All I want to hear from the company at this point is that they are very sorry and will arrange for the machine to be picked up and my money refunded asap NOT emails asking me for information when they can contact Bosch directly. I shall never buy another product from this company.
CARISMA GT24 SUBARU IMPREZA WRC 4WD 1/24 MICRO RALLY RTR CA80068. I bought this car from Appliance Electronics and I was very disappointed when I received it. It did not perform anything like I expected based on the advert, both the speed and run time were very disappointing. As I purchased the car online, I read through the terms and conditions of my purchase and cancelled my contract with Appliance Electronics as per their terms. I duly returned the car within 14 days of purchase having used it once to find out that it was not what I expected. I received a call from an employee of Appliance Electronics stating I was not entitled to return the car as it was in good working order and he added I would need to pay for postage to get it back. I explained I was following the terms and conditions of purchase and he then passed me onto customer support. Well, after a month of emails back and forth, I received an email last week with an amusing statement about where I was allowed to inspect the car to be eligible for a refund. They told me I had to inspect the car ON A BENCH and as I had used the car to find out it wasn't as expected they could not offer me a refund. Appliance Electronics still have MY car, they are now ignoring my emails and they want to charge me £9.00 to deliver MY car back to me - does this sound like they care about their customers. What can I say absolutely top service. Firstly our washing machine we ordered was £100 cheaper than Currys even with my 7% discount. Spoke to the lovely Sam on the phone who told me what to do to get a delivery date I wanted. They went one better and had it delivered the next day, 24hrs later. Raj and K were excellent who delivered it. Opened it up for me to inspect then repacked it and helped me get it into the shed. Will definitely use and recommend again. Very competitive prices and outstanding service.
They keep cancelling my delivery day and then once delivery day was agreed they didn’t turn up ! Delivery guys was awful and beggars, there was 20£ in my pocket which they have stolen it while I was having a look at my fridge freezer ! I will never ever recommend them!
Purchased an integrated dishwasher from this company as the price was great and I was extending my property. They delivered promptly. When my kitchen was fitted three months later, I discovered an internal component was missing and the product was not fit for purpose as the shelves could not be moved in and out without falling out of the machine. I contacted the company who fobbed me off, despite consumer rights detailing that if an item is not fit for use you have six months to report the issue. They repeatedly refused to take responsibility, clearly as they were too lazy to contact the manufacturer. In the end, I contacted Smeg direct, who were great. Do not use this company if you want any customer service or after care.
I've just taken delivery of a Samsung American style fridge freezer. The route into the house was quite challenging so I called before I ordered. They asked me to send photos of the route in but I did a video instead. They checked the details very thoroughly and concluded that it should be possible and the delivery guys would do their best, but some aspects would be at my own risk. They were very clear about the process and which bits were my risk. Compared with other suppliers who would only deliver to kerbside I was happy with this offer. I couldn't have been happier with the delivery process today. The guys had a can do attitude and made it happen with no fuss or damage at all. They were friendly and courteous throughout. I had a delivery of an expensive freezer last Thursday, the driver left all the packaging on my driveway if though I paid Extra for recycling service, he then photographed on my driveway and I signed the document all okay. They then took it off the pallet and moved into my utility room and drove off. I was told to wait 5 hours before switching it on. As they drove off I decided to have a look inside the freezer to plan where to put things and noticed a massive crack on the top flap I call them immediate and was assured that they will replace it if I email pictures which I did. A week later after emails and phone calls they refuse any responsibility. Terrible service! I have just order a new flap from eBay.
Fantastic service from start to finish. Very helpful with the ordering process, goods arrived very quickly a day later. The delivery team where extremely pleasant and very helpful. Ordered a tumple dryer at a good price and within an hour of placing the order got an email offering a free upgrade as they had oversold the original. After checking something about the offered machine I accepted the upgrade and got the confirmation of the revised order within 24 hours. Delivery men were friendly and helpful.
Really pleased with the whole experience. Price was the best I could find, delivery date was easily arranged and the actual delivery was on time and very straightforward. Highly recommended.
Be warned about this company. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM……. I bought a Fridge Freezer from them that stop working after 8 months. Even though is was still under warranty and Hotpoint offered an uplift Appliance Electronics would not replace the Fridge freeze free of charge. Below is the reply from Appliance Electronics. I am sorry to learn that your Hotpoint fridge freezer has developed a fault and is beyond repair. Unfortunately we no longer have this appliance in stock therefore we are unable to offer a replacement however we can give you a refund subject to usage charges. As the appliance has been used for more than 6 months we are entitled to deduct usage charges. In your case we would deduct 30% of the total price you paid for the appliance. In order to get a refund you need to send the appliance back to us at your own cost as your warranty does not over carriage, it only covers parts and labour. Once we have received the appliance in undamaged condition we will issue a full refund. Please send the appliance back to us to the address below and include a copy of your invoice and a note stating the reason for return. Once we have received the item we will inspect it to make sure it is received in the required condition and issue a refund accordingly. Please ensure that the item is packaged securely, if possible add additional packaging to secure the appliance but please make sure the manufacturers packaging stays intact. Also check the couriers insurance policy to ensure your item is covered in case it gets damaged in transit. Please note, if we receive the item in damaged condition we will not be able to issue a refund and you would have to make a claim with the couriers you use. Alternatively, we can arrange collection using our couriers. We recommend to use our couriers as they offer a secure and reliable service for large appliance deliveries and insure the appliance while in transit. In most cases where customers have used other couriers, we received the goods in damaged condition and thus have to refuse delivery and the customer then has to claim from their couriers which can be quite lengthy and a frustrating process. Our couriers would inspect the item at the collection point and pack it themselves before taking it away. If the item is found to be damaged or marked in anyway then the couriers will not be able to collect the item and the collection charges will not be refundable. For the collection service we charge £95. If you wish to arrange the collection through our couriers then please let me know and I will send you a payment link. Very poor after sales support…If it exists at all. They ignore the contents of your emails and just keep repeating the same statements. Cannot get hold of anyone in support over phone, emails are ignored or are very slow to be responded to. Not worth the small saving you may get over the bigger names if there is one. Do not risk your money, it is a gamble if things do not go to plan.
This company sold us a faulty dryer that cost over £500. We reported it within a week but they tried to fob us off by getting us to use the manufacturers warranty to affect a repair. Under the Consumer Rights Act of 2015 our contract is with the supplier and not the manufacturer. Despite repeat attempts to make this clear to them, they flatly refused to comply and we are having now to look to legal solutions. Beware!
Ordered 3 applicances same day at the weekend online from 3 different stores, first 2 both sent numerous messages confirming delivery, and were delivered right away on the Tuesday as promised. I hadn't heard a word from Appliance Electronics still, so chased them by email to find out what was going on, several hours later got a call back confirming delivery the following day between 7am-8pm so I said I'd have to take an extra day off work to ensure I was there after it didn't land with the other two on my planned day off. I then had a call today at lunch on the day of delivery that they only had white available, apparently mine was damaged, and they'd tried to call my work mobile in the evening to tell me, but then didn't bother to email or leave a message like any other store would have. Naturally I don't work at nights! Service was miles behind the other two normal big applicance stores I used from the get go in terms of communication, it really showed the difference in professionalism. For the record the response to "who's covering my cost for the time off work today I took based on your verdict? " - "we don't do that, you can write in a complaint but nothing will happen". Will lodge in the small claims court for day off work, to make a point that businesses can't cause people financial loss through their own incompetance, that's not morally right.
The purchase and delivery of my new Samsung Fridge was a great experience, cheapest price on the net but also the best service. The delivery guys were helpful and had full knowledge of the product, would recommend this company to anyone.
Excellent product and excellent service. I ordered a Samsung fridge freezer from them, I put my order in midday for 1 to 3 days delivery but they called me same day to arrange the delivery for next day and the item arrived early morning. Many thanks.
Beware this seller. Delivered to wrong address, item signed for at wrong address, item lost. I purchased a new Sony PlayStation4 with Star Wars Battlefront via Amazon. I'm out of pocket £300 seeking legal action to recover money! Seller didn't take any action whatsoever. I had to report it to Police and provide him with crime reference number and he didn't bother to call them and give serial number of console! Didn't register this console as stolen ether. Reported to Citizens Advice and Trading Standards. Avoid this seller.
Thankyou for such fantastic customer service. Ordered a washing machine (at a really excellent price) at 5pm and they phoned at 5. 45pm same day to ask if they could deliver it the next day.
