I had 2 new radiators fitted this week by Anthony who installed a new boiler last year. The work was carried out once again professionally. I recommend Anthony to a friend who had a boiler replaced by him. Excellent work experience.

When our old boiler broke down we contacted a number of heating companies for quotes to replace it… AntCrane Energy services being one of them. From the get go Anthony gave us confidence in both him and his company, making the whole process very simple… It also became quickly apparent to us he had more experience and professionalism bout him than some of the other gas engineers who called to provide quotes. Anthony did everything he said he would on the day of the install, was punctual and the workmanship is perfect. He explained to us both how to use our new boiler at the end, answering all of our questions until we fully understood it. Cant speak highly enough… Will be having back for the annual servicing.

We lost our heating in the early hours (around 1:00am) and have two small babies, one who isn’t very well at present. We didn’t expect to get hold of anyone at that time of night but tried at least 9 local companies in desperation. Unfortunately despite explaining the circumstances to the few that answered our call, the earliest anyone would visit was the next morning. It was our last attempt when we got through to Ant Crane Energy Service. Anthony (the own I think) was very understanding and offered to come out and investigate. In the end it was a component with the boiler that was at fault but a new part needed to be orders / it couldn’t be replaced there and then. We were clearly worried however Anthony kindly went all the way back to his depo and returned affine to lender us three safe to touch electrical heaters free of charged. He then returned late morning the next day to replace the faulty part. The service was excellent, it’s not often you get a company that offers excellent service for a good price but is also willing to go the extra mile, very personable and frankly just genuinely nice people. Shameful Intentional Deception and Misinformation. My experience with Anthony Crane (trading as AntCrane Energy Services) is one of repeated intentional deception and misinformation spanning a period of four weeks. He gave me a quote for some essential and urgent work which he asked me to accept in writing (which I did) so that he could order the necessary part. He came across as being honest, competent and reliable so initially trusting him wasn’t an issue. However, due to constant and repeated delays which he put down to (1) the manufacturer (whom he claimed had recommended their latest upgraded model that was superior because it was more effective and reliable), (2) his supplier and (3) the storms in February affecting deliveries, I began to feel suspicious so phoned the manufacturer who said that such a model didn't exist and that their last upgraded model (introduced in 2008) was easily and readily available at several local retailers (in other words, Anthony Crane had been telling me lies despite the urgency of the job he had undertaken to do and being totally aware of the distress and hardship that repeated false delays were causing me). When I confronted him with this he proceeded to excuse himself with further lies but at no point denied what the manufacturer had told me for which I had obtained written evidence. What honourable professional tradesman would hold a disabled pensioner to ransom in such an unwarranted manner? If he didn’t want to do the job why not be transparent instead of keeping me hanging in such an unscrupulous manner especially when he had already acknowledged that he could easily supply the current model (which he falsely claimed was the older model)? .

Great service throughout the process in replacing our boiler. The previous owner used different size piping and so caused Antony issues. He managed to sort them out and fitted the boiler in quick time professionally.

Anthony came to do our boiler service. He was professional, friendly and efficient. No issue with the price charged. HOWEVER when we tried to contact him a few weeks later (as agreed with him) because a fault we'd had had returned and needed fixing (he'd already diagnosed it) we really struggle to get hold of him. Once we got hold of him he promised to call us back which he failed to do. More recently another fault developed (we called sb else for the first issue) and again he promised to look up some costs and contact us back but failed to do so. Incredibly frustrating, especially when it leads, as it has now, in our boiler stopping to work completely (and we have 4 kids in the house! ).

AntCrane Energy Services provided an excellent service for a domestic boiler replacement from the first scoping visit to completion of the work, which was done at a competitive price. The existing boiler cupboard was dismantled and modified to accommodate the replacement boiler as part of the job. No hesitation in recommending.

Replacement combi boiler. Having experienced many problems with our eisting boiler it finally gave up the ghost. Contacted anthony crane who went out of his way to come and review what was needed, he was really professional extremely helpful and knowledgeable provide me with the options available. Arranged a replacement with him, he was punctual kept me fully informed completed the job. High quality workmanship professionally carried out no mess totally trustworthy would highly recomend him for any work you needed donewould only be to happy to speak to others if they wanted information about his work.

Problem boiler of 15 years broke down between Xmas and New Year. Anthony was the first of three companies to call out and give me quotes. After researching company and boiler makes and models, Anthony was very helpful in answering any queries I had. The work was carried out in the time specified and to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend AntCrane Energy Services.

Called this company along with a few others off this site for a combi boiler quote. Had a British Gas engineer out 1st who basically said my existing boiler was unrepairable and was pushing hard to sell me a new one (Had a long list of problems with the boiler going back over 11 years). Anthony Crane came out and gave me a price to upgrade my old combi boiler to a new one. Was by far the best quote i received from 4 others, 1 of them being BG who wanted almost £1,400 more for the same work. I found Anthony to be honest, friendly and cheap, which is why i gave them the job. Very pleased with the Baxi Duo Tec boiler they put in which has won awards for best boiler of year. Thank you for your advice and carrying out the work. Nothing negative to say, very clean & tidy all the time in my home. Before calling AntCrane Energy Services i had already checked they were Gas Safe Registered which gave me great confidence, however it was only after speaking to the company that i felt completely reassured i was dealing with a professional outfit. I spoke to Anthony directly who i found to be very friendly, informative and helpful. I was having major problems with my old boiler which after 14 years had started to only work intermittently. Anthony asked me a series of questions about the problems i was experiencing and the next day came out to my home. Anthony went through numerous checks on my boiler and system then explained in detail to me what the fault was. I had the option of having the boiler repaired or replaced for a new higher efficient boiler which is what i decided to do after running thru the benefits with him. Anthony carried out a heat loss calculation on my home to establish the best boiler for me and from the beginning kept all costs transparent, he even searched many suppliers to get me the best deal at the lowest price. Anthony carried out all work himself and my new boiler has worked without fault since.
