Andy and Claire provide an exceptionally reliable, discrete and trustworthy service, where not only my pets but my house was looked after. I always received a text letting me know whether one or both of my cats were at home, if they'd wanted a 'fuss' and whether they'd left any 'gifts' - dead mice being the favourite - which Andy (thankfully) always removed. Likewise, if a gate was left open or there was anything out of the ordinary whilst I was away, Andy would text to let me know. I would highly recommend the services provided by Andrew and Claire.

Andy, gave me great confidence from the start that he could be trusted not only with my pets but with having access to my house. While away I received a couple of text (and photo of cats) to say everything was ok. A really impressive and professional service. I would just like to thank: Animals at home(Andy)for a very good and most professional service, he says he will find the right host and he did! We wouldn't have gone away on holiday without Henry, our (big black labrador) in the past, because of of having to leave him in kennels. However, using Andy he found us a very kind, understanding and professional 'host' family to leave Henry with for one week:10th Nov 2012. We have two cats and, because one of them is really old, didn't want to use a cattery this time. Andy from Animals at Home proved to be an excellent alternative. He visited us before we went away to meet the cats and find out what we needed from his visits. We arranged two visits per day and Andy emailed me photos of the cats whilst we were on holiday so we could see they were ok. When we got back home it was obvious that they'd been well cared for and Andy had not only left milk in the fridge for us but also a report so we had an idea of how things had gone. We will definetly be using Andy again because he gave us peace of mind that our much loved cats, and our home, were in good hands.

Used Animals at home to host our pet dog whilst on holiday. The service was good, arranging a host and sorting trial host periods to allow the dog to familiarise with the host and surroundings. The dog came back non the worse for being left, although she was very happy to be home! It was a good alternative to boarding kennels but alot more expensive.

From the moment we met Andy we felt confident that he would care for our dogs. He has provided let out services several times now and we have been delighted with the service provided and relieved to be able to leave our animals without worrying about them. The service provided is professional and caring and we would be happy to recommend Animals at Home.

We used "Animals At Home" as we needed a service that would look after all our pets whilst we were on holiday. Thankfully we found "Animals At Home" who did all that we expected from them, plus looking after our greenhouse watering too! So I would recommend them certainly.

Andrew has provided walks, food and fun during my holiday for our two Labradors. He sent me regular updates via emails with photos which offered me great reassurance. He has shown commitment displayed a conscientious, professional and caring attitude and has accommodated requests for help at short notice. I would have no reservations recommending animals at home. I am extremely pleased with the service I have been provided with. My dogs are very happy when I get home from work and have been walked by Andy. He has been flexible with me when my dogs have been ill or I have had to re arrange walking times due to work commitments. I would thoroughly recommend using this service because Andy and his team really do care about our beloved pets and appreciate how important they are to us. They are professional, reliable and a safe service to use.

I was really worried about leaving my litte boy Jakie who is a Bichon Frise. The main reason was because if he can escape he will run, this is he idea of fun. I told Andrew of my concerns he arranged for me to see the lady who was going to look after him for the weekend. She assured me that he could not get out and that he would be safe and sound. He was of course. I would use Andrew and his team again with complete peace of mind.

Animals at Home visited our elderly cat twice a day for two weeks. On our return it was obvious that Georgie had been very well looked after - she was well groomed, well fed and her litter tray was clean. As requested Andy collected the post, put out the bins and watered plants. We were given a full written report on daily activities on our return which was very efficient. During our holiday Andy sent photos and text messages to me which gave us peace of mind that Goergie was ok. An excellent service and worth every penny - thank-you. We will certainly be using the service again and would recommend it to anyone.

I have previously used in home pet service and I found Animals at Home were very reliable and had good communication with us while minding our pets. When we returned home the animals were all happy and relaxed.

Animals at home (National Forest) provided a first class, high quality service when caring for my cat whilst I was away. Andrew came to meet us beforehand and discussed our requirements thoroughly. He was very helpful and the knowledge that he had been CRB checked put our minds at ease. He provided a pet log which was lovely to read upon our return to see what our cat had been up to. From the log it was apparant that Andrew had spent around 20 minutes feeding and making a fuss of our cat which madde us feel that we had made the right choice by trusting the care to Animals at home rather than puting her into a cattery. I have already recommeded their services to 2 friends and will not have any qualms about using them in the future. Thank you Andrew and animals at home (national forest).

With an elderley deaf Dog, a Chicken and 2 Rats we knew it wasn't going to be easy to find holiday care, but Animals at Home rose to the challenge. The time and effort they put in to making sure our Dog went to the perfect host family was outstanding, the Rats were easily sorted, and our pet Chicken staying at home with the carer coming in twice a day to check on her and making sure she was fed, watered and happy. We were able to relax on holiday knowing that our pets and home were safe and being well looked after. The Fees were explained at the first consultation, so there were no hidden charges, and all our questions answered professionally. We had contact numbers that we could use at any time if we were worried about anything. A faultless service that I will use again and will highly recommend.

Andrew responded the same morning that we phoned him to ask him to care for the cremation of our pet Leonberger, Otto. His phone manner was efficient and caring and he arrived promptly. We were very happy that Andrew empathised with our situation and understood that we needed to feel confident that Otto would be dealt with kindly and respectfully when he left us. This was one of the key reasons that we engaged Andrew's services and we are grateful that, all the way through, we have had no reason to doubt that we made the right decision in using Andrew. I would certainly recommend him to others who are struggling with the same dilemna at a time when you feel least able to deal with it.

I used Pets At Home for a day while I was at a wedding. Andrew came round to meet myself and my dog, Maisey, a few days before hand, and he is a very friendly, trustworthy man, who obviously loves animals. It was great knowing that Maisey was being looked after and I could enjoy my day without worrying. On my return, Andrew had left a note for me saying exactly what he had done for Maisey and how she had been. I have done nothing but praise the service I recieved and will definately be using Pets At Home in the future.
