Be very careful before you order anything from this company. We ordered and paid for a Clarke’s pump but received a cheap imitation. It sat along side our existing 2 Clarke pumps and lasted literally 1 hour before failing! (The Clarkes pumps continued to run 24/7 for two weeks in our flooded cellar). I feel I must warn other potential customers and will continue to share this terrible customer service experience on social media and through other channels until we get our money back. Glen, the MD, will stick up a standard response claiming this to be some sort of scam but pleased be warned. This is about the principle not the money.

Bought 2 off Clarke Gas Heaters from this company in February. One item was severely faulty and very dangerous. Batch number had been scratched off. After chasing them with phone calls and emails it took them about 2 weeks to collect. I am now in April and I have not received a refund. The girl on the phone says she is chasing up Clarke manufacturers but she never keeps me updated and I have sent another email today requesting that the owner gives me a call back. Customer after care is obviously lacking and I would not recommend or use them again. Very unprofessional.

I received an air compressor bought through Anglian Pumping Services Ltd. Item arrived with a severed pipe to the air regulator that also had marks on the joins where someone had tried to patch up the join with a glue, see image. Fan cover was cracked and shattered with bits of plastic in the bottom of the box under the wrapping. Scuffs and scratches to the item inside the wrapping. This was not a courier issue, most definitely in this condition before being delivered. After one week the issue has not been resolved. And I was told compensation would only be possible if I had sustained an injury from using this item in the dangerous condition it was sent out. Basically if I had plugged in this compressor to my plasma cutter the cylinder could have exploded causing serious bodily harm. Customer service after one week had still not resolved the issue and have now finally decided the best they can do is refund my order. This company is a complete disgrace and I warn anybody to think three times before buying from them. Save yourself the stress and time by going to the professionals.Moreexpand_more

Anglian Pumping Services Ltd - A company to avoid! Sadly I would never ever recommend this company. In fact I would strongly recommend to avoid at all cost. The esy Tank (500 litre) and DAB Pump supplied leaked from the outset and has taken two weeks to fix. Resulting in water dripping all over my kitchen plumbing and electrics. The leak was only stemmed as a result of using up a multitude of towels and rolls and rolls of kitchen roll. The base platform is sodden. Promises of call out appointments were broken on more than one occasion. MD took a very cavalier approach clearly having no respect for customer service. Not even the courtesy of making a call to apologise. Despite promises and assurances that spare parts would be brought by the engineer, the representative appeared with no spare parts to hand as these supposedly had run out the night before- albeit these were specifically promised by the MD - Mr Glen Denny. I have now had to have the tank drained time and again at my expense - close on 500 litres at a time. The Pipework, an integral part of the tank/pump system is shoddily manufactured. The repair proved to be a 'bodge' and unsurprisingly failed within hours of the engineer departing. The second emergency call out resulted in a new spare part having to be fitted as the leak was made worse rather than better by the first engineer. This new part immediately sprung a further leak due, as the engineer agreed, to faulty manufacture. Note this spare part had been pulled from a brand new tank as the company had run out of spares…I can't imagine why?!To date the installation of the tank system has been a recurring disaster. Broken Promises, Poor Product, and very poor customer care from the top. The Managing Director offered no apology nor was he prepared to take any responsibility for the sub standard product and poor service. A derisory offer amounting to £2.50 based on a £1500 product was flippantly offered as compensation. This will, I suspect never be forthcoming!A disreputable company that peddles sub standard products and service - one to be definitely avoided. I was pleased to learn my Heating Engineer will no longer do any further business with them either preferring to source from professional suppliers with a proven track record.
