Andy and Andrew did an amazing job laying my Victorian style tiles. They’ve really given my hallway the wow factor. Lovely guys. Very polite and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Andy Junior has just very neatly renovated the sealant in our kitchen, bathroom and shower-unit, top-quality work (meticulously vacuuming every trace of the old stuff first), and really nice people.

What a great team! We found Andy as our requirement at the start was quite specific around the finish we wanted. Not only did he provide options and guidance on what would deliver what we were after but the quality of craftsmanship throughout the job and the overall finish is incredible. They were professional, trustworthy, clean and considerate which is really hard to find in good tradesmen. Excellent work done by Andy and his son. They were professional, and trustworthy, I work away and was able to leave them to get with the task which they completed ahead of time. I am thrilled with the finished flooring in my lounge including the underfloor heating.

Andy was the most expensive quote but the job quality was outstanding, Andy gave our conservatory wood effect tiling a superb finish and layout and we are delighted. Our requirement was complicated, involving an unsupported threshold gap, and Andy was the one who best listened to our requirements and came up with and implemented the best design. Andy inspired confidence when encountering obstacles or snags and his experience really showed. Andy was polite, friendly and helpful, his written terms were clear and fair, and he listened, engaged and accommodated us throughout. The job was done promptly, without interruption, on the dates agreed. Waster removal is not included but Andy left the site clean every day. Lots of photos were supplied plus maintenance advice. Potential after sales service was also offered should a tile break or adjustment be required. All in all a 5 star quality job and experience.

We can’t praise Andy and Andrew enough. We had our downstairs toilet walls and floor tiled and the hall floor tiled to an extremely high standard of finish. What we thought was a straightforward tiling job turned into something far from “straightforward”. With their extensive knowledge they identified that the walls were not fit to hold the tiles we had already purchased. They had to remove the existing plaster boards and re-board the walls in cement backer board. Also they had to level the floor. Father and son are genuine, honest and hard working arriving early in the morning and put in a full days work. They prepared their work area ensuring that other areas of the house were not affected by them working and were very clean and tidy. We were more than happy to leave them in the house on their own to get on with the job. The downstairs toilet and hall floor look fabulous they are just perfect. They have extensive knowledge of their trade and gave advise and suggestions of things we couldn’t have thought of. We asked advised on our main bathroom and they suggested that we have the tiles cleaned up and the grout re-coloured. The finish was amazing it’s like new. We need our kitchen doing next and we will, without doubt, be using them again.Moreexpand_more

Andy and son did a great job of deep cleaning my bathroom tiles and re-sealing round the bath and skirting boards. It looks like its been re-tiled. They arrived on time and tidied up each day. I would highly recommend them.

We left Andy to tile our bathroom whilst we were away on holiday. All during our holiday we were looking forward to seeing our new bathroom, especially as Andy was sending regular photos updates. The first thing we did when we returned was to go and have a look and we weren’t disappointed. The workmanship was exceptional, all the tiles have equals gaps between them and the walls are perfectly level. Even though three weeks has past we can’t help admiring the work that Andy has done. He used dust sheets and carpet protectors so the was no damage. We are really please with the work and would definitely recommend Andy Carroll Tiling.

We were looking for grout restoration experts after finding mould in our en-suites and also crumbling grout in our family bathroom. We liked the idea of using a local, family business and were encouraged by the reviews Andy and Andrew had received. We now know why they are rated so highly. They’re nice guys, extremely professional and they both place a strong emphasis on attention to detail. The result is that the bathrooms look new. The en-suites were thoroughly cleaned, regrouted and resealed where necessary and issues with underfloor heating and an uneven floor in the family bathroom were identified and fixed with the minimum of fuss. They did a fantastic job and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

As a return customer (3rd job for us) I can again confidently recommend the quality of Andy and Andrew's work. They re-installed a shower cubicle for us this time, including replacing rotten woodwork and flooring and installing proper tanking boards which were not previously in place. Their attention to detail is excellent and with every job they've done for us the quality of the finished job has been superb. Very professional and knowledgeable but also both really nice guys.

AC Review. I have had Andy Carroll provide 3 installations for me. The first was to tile the entire ground floor of my house with tiles that ‘run through’ each room, complete with underfloor heating. At our initial meeting Andy suggested that we get a written specification from the materials suppliers (a leading national tile retailer) to ensure that the correct construction (screed, adhesives etc) was used to suit the tiles and heating. This proved to be an inspired move, as what followed was a catalog of problems (none of them Andy’s fault I should add! ). This included the wrong specification screed being supplied by the manufacturers and faulty underfloor heating kits being supplied by the retailer. Nightmare? Yes - but Andy was the only person that kept us sane. Even though non of these problems were Andy’s responsibility (we had selected all the products and purchased them ourselves direct from the retailers, Andy was providing installation only), Andy highlighted issues and brought them to our attention, dealt with the technical teams at the suppliers and really went the extra mile. At the end of the job it now looks fantastic, 3 years on it still looks like brand new. The second and third installs were bathroom refurbishments, they were a lot smoother as Andy supplied and/or specified the flooring materials and electric underfloor heating which made my life much easier as Andy handled everything. Again they look great and we are totally delighted with them. Andy has a keen eye for detail - he won’t proceed with work unless he is happy that the preparation and the materials are absolutely correct. This is exactly what you want when employing someone to do work for you - somebody that cares about getting it 100% right, rather than just getting their bit done and moving on the to the next customer. If you want a job doing properly you ask an expert and that is Andy and his son. They have re-laid my kitchen floor to a superb standard and quality that should last for decades. They both also have very good customer communication skills and so are very easy to work with. This is definitely a "cowboy free zone".

Contacted Andy Carroll and Son to fit glass tiles for a kitchen splash-back. He and his son came in quickly to size up the job, gave us an accurate quote and made some suggestions to improve the final product. They are professional, courteous and highly skilled. The work was carried out swiftly, to a very high standard, leaving the place spotless. Easy to talk to, honest and good value I would certainly use their services again and would highly recommend them to others.

Really pleased with the job Andy and his son Andy did for us recently. They were open and easy to talk to, gave a fair quote and timescale for the work and arrived when they said they would.
