HiOn 28 October 2009 our Passat (2004 B5) broke down with a serious problem, whereby it would cut the engine at random and not start again. The RAC were called out twice, and on both occasions got me home, but gave incorrect advice as to what the problem was. I took the car to the VW main dealers at Ashford, who after 24 hours said they didn't know what the fault was and for that reason they did not charge me. Around 15 January 2009, in desperation I thought for the first time I'd try a mobile mechanic. I contacted a Mobile Mechanic, Adrian Locke who travelled down from Meopham in Kent to Camber in East Sussex. Adrian goes that extra mile to help you. After a short while he had diagnosed the problem and after fitting a new electrical relay number "167" the car started first time and has been running without a problem since 21 January 2009Adrian has 22 years Audi main dealer experience - but fixes and tackles everything, whatever the vehicle. Since getting the car back on the road he has fitted a new water pump, radiator, rear brakes, CV joint, and solved a mystery dashboard light with a new brake switch.
