After struggling for years with ropey Wi-Fi connections around the house (with a variety of Heath Robinson fixes like relays, mesh nodes and power-line-comms) the repeated failures of Skype / Teams / Zoom calls while Working From Home nowadays pushed me over the edge: I needed Ethernet. Specifically, five cable runs from near the broadband router to five different rooms around the house across three floors, with sockets and a LAN switch to bring them all together. I roughly costed up the parts and cabling required, then contacted a few companies in the area for quotes: AMG were both the most reasonable and had the best availability, and reviews and testimonials looked good. Adam came out for the initial survey (within a few days) and impressed me with his knowledge, ability to quickly understand what I was after and his flexibility (with both set-up and dates etc. … And with squeezing into our loft eaves, come to think of it). He also proposed a different, better solution to what I'd considered (to go externally rather than through the house, which makes it easier to pass The Wife Test). Installation was smooth, Adam automatically took his boots off whenever he came into the house, caught all the brick dust with dust sheets, and hoovered up anything that escaped. Every socket is perfectly fitted and aligned to a degree that soothes my OCD/anal-retentiveness, and works brilliantly. Latency is a thing of the past, I've now got decent Wi-Fi coverage (by repurposing my plethora of mesh nodes as access points/routers plugged into each Ethernet point) throughout the house - geek bliss :).As an electronics / systems engineer myself (and Chartered Engineer etc. ), I can vouch for the quality of the overall solution and implementation. We live in an extended 1930's semi and have always struggled with our WiFi due to the thickness of the walls. Adam from AMG was really knowledgeable and helpful and after a free of charge site survey we went for a mesh network system. This appears to have fixed our problems and fingers crossed our WiFi worries are over! Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I bought our first home together, and as we both work from home full time, one of our top priorities was getting wired ethernet run through the majority of the house. We knew of AMG Solutions through a friend who had used the company and was extremely pleased with the work, we did not hesitate to get straight in contact and start discussing what we wanted. Adam came over not long after to better understand our requirements and to be able to start preparing a quote, which we received promptly and were extremely happy with the price. Within a matter of weeks, our install date arrived and Adam got under way, to say we are over the moon with the results is an understatement, despite the fact we chose to not hide the cabling in the walls but settling for conduit to keep costs down, Adam's attention to detail and tidiness is unparalleled he even managed to finish a day earlier saving us a small amount on the final bill. Should we have any other telecoms type work we will definitely be using AMG Solutions again!

After new house extension, wifi was no longer working in certain parts of the home, and signal to the summer house had been lost despite using an off the shelf booster. Internet provider were a waste of space in helping resolve the issues. Adam was great, came and did an assessment of our needs and installed the right equipment for the job! With 5 kids in the house they are all now happy with the WIFI coverage and I can work in the summer house in peace! Really pleased. Ros. Really pleased. .

Adam provided an excellent service in setting up a new Internet/WIFI system in our refurbished Victorian house. He was very patient, returning a few times during our refurb, and finally installing a comprehensive Comms system, including a number of WIFI access points around our property, including one in the garden! He was very professional in his dealings with us, yet always happy to explain the 'intricacies' of the system, in an easy to understand manner. We would definitely recommend Adam, and would use him again if the need arises.

Finally a reliable firm that know what they’re doing! We were let down multiple times by a rival CCTV company who we actually chose over AMG due to price. Although AMG were more money we can honestly say they are worth every penny. The engineers were tidy, polite and put up with our rather fussy changes! The owner Adam (sorry if that’s wrong! ) is a rare man of his word and great to deal with. A big thank you to the team at AMG Solutions!

Asked Adam to scope the work in sorting out data cables etc. Prompt, informative and honest. His advice was the least expensive option and didn't involve himself, can't fault integrity.
