Alvechurch Kitchens

Richard designed a great new kitchen for me and had exactly what I was looking for. He was brilliant to deal with and everything was done to a high quality. I am extemely happy with the finish and would use Alvechurch Kitchens again and will be recommending them to friends and family.

We employed Richard and his team in August 2014 to carry out the following work:· Remove woodchip wall paper and replaster/reskim as necessary - hall, stairs and landing. · Reskim/replaster 2 walls in living room. · Redecoration (walls, ceiling and woodwork) of above. · Removal of old kitchen tiles and retiling. · Regrout kitchen floor. · Complete renovation of bathroom and separate wc including supply and fitting a new suite and upgraded shower and electrics, new ceiling spots, floor to ceiling replastering and retiling and supply and fitting of new flooring. · A number of additional minor changes and improvements. We found Richard very approachable and easy to deal with. He arrived on time listened to our detailed requirements and came back to us quickly with a very thorough and detailed quote which included best and worse case scenarios regarding plastering costs for back to brick or just reskimming. On a couple of occasions we changed our minds about what we wanted and Richard quickly responded with revised quotes. We needed the work completed very quickly over two weeks whilst we were away on holiday and we were impressed, given the variety and extent of the work required, that almost everything was completed by the time we returned (despite illness affecting both of his decorators!). It was also all very clean and tidy with minimal signs of plaster dust!The tradesmen (and women) that Richard engaged were also all friendly and approachable. Richard organised for one of his team to fit a new worktop in our kitchen. He supplied a lovely good quality worktop, and it was fitted quickly. The tradesman was really friendly and did a great job of fitting the worktop, I'm really pleased with the finish.

We came across Alvechurch Kitchens by accident following a couple of overpriced quotes from well known high street kitchen design services who seemed more concerned with maintaining impressive looking showrooms and generating commission than providing a good quality service at a reasonable price. Alvechurch Kitchens are almost the opposite of that. Whilst not having a showroom, they do offer a top quality design and fitting service (flexible enough to accommodate our many design alterations on the way! ) and unrivalled customer care at a highly competitive price. We are delighted with the result, a superb kitchen, designed and fitted by a team of likeable and talented professionals at a good price. What more do you want? I strongly recommend you give them a try.

We wanted to update an older kitchen. We had several ideas - Richard quoted for our first plan and then happily quoted again when we changed our minds. We needed units to match the existing ones -this was achieved perfectly. The quality of workmanship was excellent. The electrical work was done quickly and efficiently. A friendly, helpful team.

Our kitchen was completely renovated by Richard and his excellent team, involving Plastering, Electrical work, Plumbing, Tiling and off course Actually fitting the Kitchen. The initial designs were imaginative and gave us a broad choose of options by a full range of suppliers. Difficiulties encountered, during the renovation work, were managed and over come by the team with out affecting either the timing or budget. We are very please with the result and would recommend Alvechurch Kitchens.

We have had a complete new kitchen fitted by Richard John, Alvechurch kitchens and are absolutely delighted with it. The quality and the finish are both good. The various tradesmen who worked on the kitchen were excellent and we enjoyed having them here in our home. They are all very trustworthy and incredibly nice people. We have no hesitation in recommending Alvechurch kitchens to anyone. We are extremely satisfied.

Richard, was extremely helpful with the planning stage of our kitchen, I had very little idea about what I wanted but within 25 minutes of talking to him we had a kitchen plan we were very happy with. He went to a lot of effort to provide a very flexible quote with a number of options, (as he knew we were working to a tight budget). The work took about 4 days with a few extra bits here and there. Everyone involved was very professional and worked to a high standard. The kitchen is fantastic, we couldn't be happier with it. Its very impressive how much Alvechurch kitchens made out of a relatively small space. It is also worth mentioning that were were one or two hiccups where the manufactures, of certain parts of the kitchen, messed up the order/delivery of some of the products, and Richard sorted all this out with no hassle or extra cost to me. Overall could not possibly recommend this company more!

The price quoted to assemble and install our kitchen was exceptionally low. the quality of the work actually fitting the units to walls and fitting the integrated appliances, the attention to details gives our finished kitchen a WOW look about it. Very pleased with the service provided.

I contracted out Richard of Alvechurch to renovate a flat which was inhabitable richard refurbished the flat to a very high standard despite the condition the flat was in. Kitchen was fitted to a very high standard beyond my expectation. In fact the whole flat was refurbished to a very high standard. Richard does what he says and will not let you down richard kept us informed throughout the project. Richard is a very sincere man and would recommend him without hesitation thank you Richard. I rate 10 out of 10 for this job. Faultless.

I contracted richard john of alvechurch kitchens to carry out a refurbishment on my existing kitchen as i live abroad correspondence prior to order placement was very important and richard was both prompt and concise this carried on through at installation stage and the work carried out was of a high standard and ontime.
