Rick was extremely patient and professional in the run up to organising the shoot (even when the dates changed on numerous occasions! ) and on the day itself. He kept in contact with us and produced the pictures we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble and we are really pleased with the result. Great pictures and great service. Thank you! I will add a photo once we have presented the gift to the recipient - I don't want to ruin the surprise!

We booked Rick from Altura Aerial Photography to provide drone footage of our wedding as we really wanted to showcase our venue to maximum effect. Previous examples of his work certainly stood out and we were sure he would be able to capture our special day in the best possible way! Due to recent press coverage involving drones, we wanted someone professional with the right training and qualifications to fly safely and within the law. Rick ticked all the boxes, as he was a BNUC-s certified pilot, registered for aerial works with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and held appropriate insurance (just in case anything went wrong). The flight path was planned in advance to ensure safety of the hall and any wedding guests out on the terrace outside, with full risk assessments completed before take-off. Rick arrived early before the wedding ceremony to capture the initial drone footage of Knowsley Hall and the surrounding manicured gardens and lakes. The sun was shining and there was very little cloud in the sky, which really made for some spectacular results. After the ceremony, Rick captured some footage of our main wedding party photo shoots out on the front lawns, and the obligatory confetti shot with the hall in the background. Later he went on to capture our guests out on the rear terrace enjoying the drinks reception while listening to the delights of our string quartet. Before heading home, he followed our photographer and videographer around the grounds and lake as they took the final few shots to capture the memories of our day. All in all, we were certainly impressed with the quality of the photos and video produced by Altura Aerial which was filmed in 4k HD, and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for drone or aerial footage of their wedding day. Our guests were also impressed when they first caught sight of the drone buzzing around in the sky which helped make our wedding even more unique and added a further talking point to the day. Rick edited the best shots into a short video which was then sent out to our main photographer/videographer to incorporate into our main wedding video. Very good service received.Moreexpand_more

Altura were friendly and helpful throughout our dealings with them. The service was very well thought out and I would be more than happy to recommend the company to anyone requiring commercial drone photography or filming. My dealing with Rick were very good and the post filming production carried out was to a very good standard.

I did a lot of research on videographers while planning my proposal, and Rick was by far the most enthusiastic and on top of his game. Our wedding was made such a pleasure with Aerial photography, really made it a lot of fun and was amazing with the drone, the shots are out of this world. We had Altura Aerial film our wedding as we wanted a more unique way to capture our moment as well as the beauty of our wedding venue. The end result was simply amazing! We were simply swept away when we saw our wedding video and couldn't believe how splendid they did with the aerial filming. As we are from overseas, we were actually pretty worried if it was the right call getting Altura Aerial, however our worries were dumbfounded as we were immediately impressed when we first met by their professionalism and dedication in capturing the perfect memory for us. When we were thinking about videographer for our wedding, we decided to look at something a bit alternative. I had heard about Altura through a friend and was impressed with what I had seem to decided to book. Im SO glad we did! The venue we had booked had beautiful grounds and Altura didn't just capture the usual stuff, there were aerial shots of the venue, gardens and the guests having fun outside. They even included a flying shot of my husbands new car so he was VERY pleased! When we watched the video, they had captured so many things that we didn't see on the day. I was surprised by some of the shots because I don't recall them being recorded which really highlighted how professional and discreet Altura was on our special day. Thank you so much to the team.
