Alter and Drape

Danielle altered two wedding dresses for my daughter-in-law last July 2016. A tricky lacey skin tight dress, full length, with beautiful lace edging. Danielle's alterations were perfect! The traditional bridal gown, sweetheart neckline strapless, A line satin bottom, was taken in and bodice fully adjusted. She also designed and made a satin belt to suit the dress. Again, the alterations and additions were perfect. Her manner was friendly, relaxed and instilled confidence. A charming helpful lady, reasonably priced for the amount of work she did. Will use again. Highly recommended.

I bought my wedding dress 10 months before our wedding in Jamaica, however, after trying it on a month before decided it didn't look or feel quite right …. Panic ! I found Danielle on line and reading good reviews I booked an evening appointment which was convenient as I am at work during the day. Once I had my dress on Danielle instantly said it was too loose and too long, out came her pins and a few minutes later the dress was transformed! I collected it a week later and had a final try on. I was thrilled with how well it fitted and felt amazing on my wedding day and was able to walk down the beach without tripping over it. Danielle is very personable and also incredibly good at what she does and I have recommended her to friends and family.

I made the rookie mistake of buying an ex demo wedding dress off ebay, also not realising you should also order a size up from normal dress size - needless to say it needed altering! Danielle worked nothing short of miracles, so friendly and made me feel at ease right away (very body conscious so thats saying something). Danielle even made me a tailored bolero in beautiful ivory velvet. I cannot recommend this wonderful lady highly enough!

Natalie provided me with a superb service. I am thoroughly pleased with the results. I contacted her late one night as the zip on my favourite dress had gone and I was due to go away and wanted to wear it. I dropped it round the following night and she was able to order the zip for me and was quick to repair it. Her work was immaculate and she was very professional and friendly. She is now working on another item for me as I was that impressed! Overall a 5* service!

I bought an evening dress off the internet and it was too big on the top. In a panic I searched the internet and came across this website and all the positive reviews. I gave Danielle a call and was able to go round one evening from work. She looked at the dress and suggested an easy resolution to the problem. I got a call a few days later saying that she had completed the job and arranged to go round the following evening. The job that she did was seamless and you wouldn't even know that it had been amended. Price was very reasonable and would definitely use her again. She also makes dresses so next time I will go straight to her without trawling the internet for reputable companies. Thank you so much.

I used Danielle a few years ago to design and make my prom dress I went to her with a picture from a magazine and she brought it to life. I was so pleased with the result I went back when a bridesmaid dress I bought needed altering as the bust was too big. The design had a high bust line with small chiffon pleats. Danielle carried out the alterations within a couple of days, the fit was perfect with no signs of any adjustments. I would definitely recommend Danielle to anyone as she is pleasant, very professional and the work was carried out to a high standard.

A Very talented and creative pattern cuttern - You would find it difficult to find better either for new patterns / alterations and amendments. Danielle has many years experiance working in the clothing industry and a very good understanding of fashion and what shapes suit curtain figures. After working with her for a couple of years i had Danielle do the amendments on my wedding dress which was heavily beaded and had a huge skirt - the results were prefect and looked and fitted fantastically.
