I am a freelance proofreader offering a bespoke service to suit your needs. My specialism is education and mathematics. I have a love of learning and figures! I have experience maths checking at every level from primary to A Level. Also copyediting primary maths online learning modules.

My experience includes proofreading Teacher's Phonics Guides and Maths Textbooks using my experience in teaching. Also proofreading Travel Guidebooks following my love of holidays. I have proofread a website for an IT training company, supporting them with accurately portraying their training requirements. I have supported a colleague with dyslexia by reading through all of her learning documentation about her key children before sharing with parents. I have proofread for an IT training company, Academy Class, reading through manuals for their updates of Adobe software. My passion for education has led to me proofreading a termly educational magazine called Scallywags. Also, I have proofread e-learning assessments based on primary education. My love of maths has led me to proofread online learning modules at primary and university level. I enjoy all the finer details of calculations and figures. Students have contacted me for support with Harvard referencing in their essays. I have proofread an essay on nursing and links with families and carers. I have proofread a dissertation for a nursing student and a maths student.

I am an intermediate member of The Chartered Institute of Editing and Proofreading, and I have completed training to further my skills. I can proofread digitally using Microsoft Word commenting tools or Track changes, as well as proofreading PDFs using Adobe Acrobat and commenting tools. I can proofread using BSI proofreading symbols digitally or on paper.

I work on a fixed fee for a project per 1,000 words. I charge £10 per 1,000 words.

3,000 word essay proofread for only £30.
4,000 word website proofread for only £40.
15,000 word dissertation proofread for only £150.
40,000 word book proofread for only £400.
