Hi, my name is Stephen and I'm proud to say I have worked in the Financial Services industry since 1990, and as a mortgage adviser since 2002 (I know I don't look old enough. ).

I set up Alexander Financial Solutions, a whole of market mortgage brokerage, in 2015, having previously worked for a large national mortgage advice network, and seen first hand what was missing, namely treating the client as a person rather than a transaction.

I am based in Drighlington, conveniently between Leeds, Bradford, Halifax and Wakefield, and am proud to say I have many repeat clients from not only the local area, but across the whole UK and abroad.

The majority of my clients have been using my services for several years and often recommend me to their friends and family - I like to think this is a testament to the service I provide.

Let's face it, mortgages are not the most interesting subject in the world! And the way lenders are now assessing applications makes it all the more important to understand each lenders unique criteria, which is where I come in.
