From my initial phone contact with Elizabeth, I was reassured that they could tackle our challenging project which was a great relief! Our attic conversion has an awkwardly shaped double bedroom with eaves areas insufficiently used. We asked Kevin to work with our design to create bespoke wardrobes and a drawer unit to make best use of the space. Throughout the process, Elizabeth and Kevin’s communication was excellent. During the work, Kevin was assisted by Chris and they worked together to produce an amazing storage space, leaving the area very tidy afterwards. We would not hesitate to recommend Alcove Joinery.

I have just had my second piece of work done by Kevin and the standard of workmanship was just as high as the first. Kevin listens carefully to what you want and then is able to suggest little changes or additions that make it even better. He and Elizabeth make a great team and Elizabeth always replies promptly to any communications which is very reassuring. I wouldn't consider going anywhere else for any kind of joinery work and have no hesitation in recommending Kevin's work. He leaves everything immaculate when he's finished and prices his work very reasonably so you feel confident that you are getting a quality job at a fair price, which is all most people are looking for at the end of the day.

I have utilised KG Joinery services on 3 occasions. 2 at my home (new front door, electricity box, decking alteration and minor joinery improvements)and 1 at my work place (a variety of bespoke storage units and minor improvements). I have been very happy with the quality of work on all 3 occasions. Kevin and Elizabeth have a good working relationship with Elizabeth managing customer services whist Kevin gets his hands dirty with the actual joinery. Kevin has provided me with a mixture of bespoke and standard joinery. You can tell he takes pride in his workmanship and I can happily recommend him for any joinery work. You wont be disappointed.

Kevin's latest project for us was a front door canopy, and as usual it's his attention to detail that has made this look fantastic. He is such a professional and a perfectionist. He has been responsible for just about every piece of wood in our house, and has done a great job time after time.

Kevin fitted new doors in my house, it was hassle free, done on time and the quality of the workmanship and his attention to details is great. There was no mess, no hassle and I would highly recommend!

I had 3 doors replaced, 1 sliding, a new vestibule inner door added and an exterior door repositioned. All the work was carried out to a very high standard very efficiently, and with no mess. Glass was put into the new vestibule door too. The plastering work was also arranged by Kevin and that too was a first rate job. I had the good fortune to come across KG Joinery Services when I was searching online for a local joiner to replace seven internal doors within my propery. Elizabeth responded to my initial query very quickly and a convenient appointment was made for Kevin to look at the job and measure up. A reasonable quote for the work was swiftly received and accepted and a date agreed for the work to be carried out. Kevin turned up on time on the given date an worked solidly the whole day. The standard of the work he did for me is very high and when he had finished he cleared up which meant all I had to do was sit back and admire my lovely new doors! :-). What I really appreciate about KG JoInery is the extremely efficient way that everything is done. How many times, does one try to contact a firm for information or to ask for someone to call to carry out work only to hear nothing in reply to one's enquiry? How often does one make a firm arrangement for someone to come to do the work only to have them arrive late - or not at all? Once having arrived and start the work, how often is one left with work not finished? Elizabeth who does the admin for KG joinery Services always replies promptly to enquiries and answers the specific questions asked. Kevin arrives on time and works quietly and efficiently to ensure that the work is carried out and completed as arranged. An all round extremely efficient company doing excellent work at very completive rates.

After moving house recently to a property in need of modernisation I came across the KG Joinery Services website and arranged a free viewing appointment. Following meeting Kevin (The joiner) and discussing our requirements we proceeded to have KG Joinery Services provide quotations for numerous projects including Design and install our new Kitchen, Remove and replace windows and external doors, complete our staircase and replace the balustrades not to mention the little bits and pieces. I used KG Joinery Services on the strength of their Freeindex reviews. I required damaged mirror sliding wardrobe doors to be removed and replaced with wood bi-fold doors. I was kept informed of the delay KG Joinery experienced in receiving the doors from the supplier. KG Joinery then visited my house at the expected time and fitted the doors. Various adjustments were made to the doors so that the bi-fold doors fitted into the existing door frames. Mess was minimised and I was very satisfied with the service. Kevin fitted four bespoke sliding doors in my bedroom. The work included knocking down an existing cupboard, planning and building the internal shelves and rails and fitting the doors. The work was of an excellent standard, the finish was great and Kevin was very clean and tidy.
