Albion Architecture and Surveying is a professional firm offering architectural and surveying services throughout London and the South East. The firm which is located in North West London began trading in 1994 and has many years experience in the chartered building surveying sector. Our building surveys include aerial drones to inspect roofs and exterior facades. Safer and less costly.

We are members of SPAB, the society for the protection of ancient buildings.

The company specialise in the new-build, conversion, alteration and extension of all types of buildings. Albion carry out condition surveys of single buildings or stock condition surveys of portfolios. They also carry out measured surveys using EDM or laser-scanning for high accuracy.
The design of new-build houses are a speciality, whether one-offs or multi-developments.

The company provide energy/heat-loss surveys using thermal-imaging technology.

Martin Quirke FRICS MCIAT is the Principal Chartered surveyor. He started the business in 1994. Martin is a Fellow of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. Martin has worked in the USA, Canada and France as well as throughout the UK and Ireland.
The company provide thermal scans of buildings to assess and isolate heat-loss, dampness, mould, etc. Thermal imaging surveys are a high-tech building investigation. It uses infra-red technology to highlight various "hidden" defects such as leaking flat roofs, missing or poorly fixed thermal insulation, defective under-floor heating, air-leakage around doors and windows, overheating electrics, etc. Exterior scans are best done when there is a 10 degree C temperature difference between the inside and outside.
