Alba Forklift Training

I cannot recommend Alba Forklift Training in Cumbernauld highly enough. I was booking the course on behalf of my husband and had contacted several training providers beforehand. Many did not respond to emails or calls, and at one point I was even looking as far away as Carlisle. My husband then found Alba Forklift Training on his first search, and from that moment the whole experience was completely different. As my husband was working long night shifts, I arranged the course dates with Carol, who was absolutely amazing - understanding, informative, professional, and incredibly helpful. The communication throughout was excellent, with real attention to detail, and no request ever felt like too much trouble. My husband speaks fluent English, but as English is not his first language, he can sometimes lose confidence under pressure, especially during examinations. This can affect both his communication and his actions, even though he fully understands what is required. His instructor, Chris McCormick, was extremely understanding and supportive of this. At the same time, he was very clear that on site, especially when operating machinery, communication must be confident, consistent, and unwavering for health and safety reasons. That balance really stood out to me. It showed that Alba Forklift Training is not simply about going through the motions, taking a fee, and handing out certificates. They genuinely care that their students are trained properly, safely, and in line with the standards required for such an important role. They also take the time to understand each student’s individual strengths and challenges, offering tailored advice that supports their long-term success. I would not look anywhere else for forklift training. Alba Forklift Training offers a comprehensive, reliable, and professional course where students are properly supported while still being held to the safety standards the job requires. Brilliant from start to finish!

I have just completed my RTITB Counterbalance Novice Course with Alba training. I have to say Michael and Andy where great instructors and shared a wealth of knowledge and put me at ease while undertaking the training and test. I will be using them in future for further training and would highly recommend them to everyone.

Have just completed a 5 day In-House Instructors Course. Andy and Derek were wonderful instructors, really put you at ease and share their extensive wealth of knowledge to help you achieve the standard required. The venue is first class, easy to find and the equipment and facilities could not be better.

Recently done my forklift refresher course with Andy and would highly recommend Alba Training to anyone for any of their training requirements.

From first point of contact, through a counterbalance refresher and forklift instructor ten day course, absolutely first class! Real people with perfect balance of professionalism and knowledge. Excellent throughout and absolute value for money. Highly recommended.

I completed a four day course on the operation and safety procedures of a counterbalance forklift. The course was comprehensive, guidance and training was logical and easy to follow and the course instructors were helpful and knowledgable. I feel confident after only four days training that I know enough to be able to operate a forklift. So much so I completed the course on a Friday, applied for jobs the following Monday and have a job interview on Thursday. Highly recommend Alba to anyone thinking about training.

I have been using Alba training for various training purposes over many years (Reach, Pivot Steer, CB and Instructor Course). Recently, I have just completed my Counterbalance refresher, and once again the standards, facilities, MHE, knowledge and professionalism of the staff are 1st class. Highly recommend!

I needed a refresher course for my forklift license and chose Alba training I had a very informative day and the instructor was very helpful it was easy to find and the forklifts that we trained on were of a high standard 5 star.

Need any license, Alba is the place for you. Brilliant group of guys and girls down there would definitely recommend to anyone. Even with language barriers they will take the time to make sure you understand.

I completed B1 counterbalance training with Alba Training and rate them 1st class. The skill set, knowledge and professionalism of the instructor was excellent, and the facility is spot on. Would recommend to anyone.

I have spent the last two weeks at Abla training doing my RTITB instructor course. The staff are absolutely amazing and the facilities are perfect. Excellent, took Counterbalance course with ALBA in September 2020. Trainer (Derek) was superb, very professional, helpful and knowledable. Plenty of attention to detail and made learning easy and enjoyable. Dealing with Alba was very easy and at all stages staff are very helful. I would highly recommend ALBA for your training needs.

A great company to deal with from Carol sorting my funding application to the actual refreshers themselves with Jim. Really knowledgeable and a good facility and just what you need.
