Alan is a delightful person and a truly talented artist, I currently have two of Alan's paintings and I have also commissioned Alan to paint a winter scene of the front of my business `City Retreat in the Snow` which we have used as the picture on our company christmas card, I think it`s amazing. His gallery in Ponteland has beautiful array of his own and other artists painting on display this coupled with the warm welcome and the hospitality received form both himself and his lovely wife Susan make a visit very worthwhile. Also the `Own Art` Scheme which allows you to purchase your piece over a period of time `interest free` is a great help. Keep up the good work Alan.

Alan painted a bespoke landscape of the beach and castle at Bamburgh as a keepsake for our family. We were especially impressed by the attention he gave to our wishes, including at our request, miniature representations of all of us, and we love the finished product It is a treasured possession.

Alan is an artist with the ability to capture a scene and make it come alive again on canvas. He is much appreciated in Northumberland.

We have three of Alan's paintings of Edinburgh and I commissioned him to paint a view our home in the Tyne Valley. Alan's paintings are truly unique and atmospheric. Last Christmas I enjoyed sending my friends and family Christmas cards depicting scenes from his collection of my home town of Newcastle Upon Tyne. I purchased a print of the Grand Canal to celebrate my 25 wedding anniversary recently. Alan was able to give me lots of advice on the mount and framing to really set this print off in my living room. My husband and I are delighted with the finished result and has pride of place above our fireplace. His gallery is a pleasure to visit and we look forward to our next purchase. Thanks Alan!

My husband and I visited Alan Reed's art gallery because we value quality art and I had previously admired some of Alan's exhibited works. I was hoping to find a picture for my husbands birthday which was imminent the range of work was wide and pictures available were originals or limited edition prints. This meant that I could choose my budget. We found a picture of Florence where we spent our 20th Wedding Anniversary that fitted our need perfectly. We love the picture, the quality of the art work adds to our pleasure and we have a daily reminder of the wonderful holiday that we enjoyed together.

We have bought a few paintings from Alan Reed, and been thrilled with them all. We bought the latest one "The Rialto Fish Market" because of the vibrant colour and activity it depicts. It has pride of place above our fire place, and every time I look at it I see something different! Its so good I've designed the sitting room around it!
