Alan was our wedding photographer for our wedding at Rye Town Hall (and afterwards in The George Hotel). He was helpful and attentive from the get go, reassuring on the day, always available and perhaps most importantly provided us with a beautiful collection of photographs to remember our special day with. He was our first choice, and there were other photographers who perhaps were at a slightly lower cost but the quality of service and product did not seem anywhere close to that Alan offered. Would absolutely recommend 100% to anyone else looking for a great and personable photographer for their wedding or any other special occasion. Thanks again Alan!

We are so glad that we chose Alan to be our wedding photographer. He was wonderfully calm, discreet and professional. We particularly wanted a photographer to be unobtrusive during the church ceremony and Alan was marvellous. My wife Heather and I used Alan as our photographer for our wedding at Scotney Castle, Lamberhurst in June 2014. From the get go he was our first choice and we were delighted to be able to book him based on his portfolio and initial dealings with him. His passion for his work along with his professionalism shines through and we would thoroughly recommend Alan as a wedding photographer. There were cheaper alternatives around but the quality of the package was excellent and we're very pleased to have gone with Alan.

Alan was the photographer for our wedding in June 2014 and I really can not speak highly enough of him. Alan was so helpful and attentive from the first meeting right through to our engagement shoot and on the day itself, providing extremely helpful ideas and advice based on his wealth of expereince. Alan had visited the church we were marrying in and our reception venue before the big day so that he knew where the best locations were for taking group shots and those of just us. On the day itself Alan was fantastic and so many of our guests also commented on how polite, discreet and prefessional he was. Our wedding photos are simply stunning and it was so hard to decide which ones to include in our wedding book as we really loved all of them. My husband usually hates photos of himself and it is a testement to Alan's talent and his way of making you relax in front of the lense that he absolutely loved all of them! We couldn't be happier with our photos and photo books that Alan produced for us. Not only did Alan capture some fantastic shots for us but we were very impressed with his level of service. During the day he was clear on what shots he wanted to get the most from our wedding venue and ensured we had sufficient time for this to be done. We chose Alan to be our wedding photographer after meeting him at a wedding fair around 10 months before our Big Day. We had an idea in mind of what we wanted in regards to our wedding photography and were very impressed with his portfolio of images. It was easy to chat to Alan and he answered all our questions confidently. We arranged another meeting so that we could look at more images and examples of photobooks and soon decided that Alan was the right man for the job. After booking we found out that we got a free Engagement Shoot at a location of our choice included in our package. The Engagement Shoot was a great way to get to know Alan even more and to become more comfortable posing for pictures – something which neither of us have much experience with! We also got some lovely photos from the day and had a guest book made up with the images. On the actual wedding day we had two photographers included in our package and so while Alan went to photograph the Bride and Bridesmaids Mark went to capture the chaos with the Groom and Groomsmen! They both made us feel so comfortable during the morning preparations, group photographs and the rest of the day. They made sure they included photographs which we had requested and had great ideas for unique shots that we would not have thought of trying. They were unobtrusive during the ceremony and speeches – so much so that we almost forgot they were there! It was just what we wanted from our photographers and we couldn’t have been happier. After our honeymoon we were very excited to see the professional photos from the Big Day and it couldn’t have been easier. Alan sent us a link to view all the edited images and we chose the ones which we wanted on CD and in our photobook. We were so impressed, the style was just what we had wanted and there was a great selection of ‘arty’ natural images as well as the more traditional group shots. We chose the ones we wanted; with a bit of help from our family and then Alan put them together to make our wedding photobook. He sent us a PDF to check before ordering it and we were so happy with how our wedding story had been brought to life through the pictures! We received the book within six weeks, as promised, and couldn’t wait to show it to our family and friends. We had so many comments on how lovely the photos are and both of our families were very impressed with the quality of the images. We would definitely recommend Alan and Mark to anyone looking for friendly, easy-going photographers and high quality, professional images. We had Alan provide the photography at our wedding July 2013. He was very friendly and professional, we hardly knew he was there. He managed to capture the whole storey of our special day took some truly magical pictures. Thank you again.

Alan Hardord was our wedding photographer back in June 2013. I was surprised when I found out that there would be an extra photographer on the day and that meant that not only were my moments before the wedding captured, so were my husbands moments as well. They also stayed very late in the day so the pictures showed the whole scope of the day from beginning to end. The photographs and album were of a very professional standard and I could not have been happier with them.

We used AHP (Alan Harbord Photography) for our wedding after seeing his portfolio at a Wedding Fair. His professionalism and customer service was exemplary from the engagement shoot through to the big day. We found that AHP would go over and above a standard level of service and would always check that we were happy at every stage. AHP clearly takes a lot of pride in its work as was shown by the flawless Wedding Album that we received.
