AJS Garden & Property Doctor

AJS have just completed a complete bathroom makeover. The manager of the company (Tony) made some excellent suggestions in the planning process and helped me to design a modern bathroom with a contemporary twist. Tony made an estimation of how long the job would take and gave me a quote including all materials used. The team arrived on the stated day on time and commenced work immediately, at the end of each day all areas were left tidy and clean with minimal disruption to the household. The job took exactly the length of time estimated and was exactly the amount he quoted. The quality of the work carried out is to an extremely high standard, there was no mess for me to clean up after they had left and no rubbish to dispose of either. This is the second time i have used this company (the first time was for the building of a summerhouse and laying a patio in the back garden - again a fantastic job) i will not hesitate in calling AJS for any job around the house no matter how big or small.

Have used AJS on 3 occasions now. 2 interior house jobs and 1 external job. The external job was building a kennel and run for my 2 gsd's. Involved them building brick store house for dog equipment and freezer for dog food. Running electricity, fitting plugs and lights, paving the run etc, putting on sloping roof and guttering. I was extremely impressed by the quality of the work and the time it took them to complete - including tidying up every scrap of rubbish/waste etc. 2 interior jobs were conversion of fire place into unit for home entertainment system and fixing flat tv. All wires completely hidden , beautiful finish - again tidied up as they went along so no dust etc in my living room! 2nd interior job was installing a new shower, re-tiling and fitting shower etc, very reasonable price and again fantastic finish. Also replaced ceiling where previous shower had leaked. Having employed many different builders etc over the last 20 years - perhaps 5 or 6 for various jobs, never been impressed with standard of work or prices. I recently had work done on an old leanto. I had a couple of quotes, The quote from AJS Garden & Property Doctor (who was out of the area) was the most reasonable so went with that. Tony was on site every day prompt and never stopped working. We changed our mind on a couple of things and nothing was too much trouble The job involved brick work, new slate roof and fitting new doors and windows, plumbing and plastering. My husband and I had NO complaints what so ever, thank you Tony, excellent job, need front porch doing now so let us know when you are free (if you read this? ).

I was very happy with the level of service received from AJS Garden and Property Doctor. I had a bathroom fitted with walls and floors tiled. The price was very reasonable. Mr Sheldon worked into the evenings on most days so that the job could be completed for us and we could have running water. They were tidy and cleaned up after their self's. They were very professional, polite and I highly recommend AJS Garden and property.

AJS completely refitted the kitchen (a large one),and bathroom. Re styled the garden, with a patio and bespoke gazebo, re-lawned a new area and made a bespoke deck area and fitted a new wooden fence. Re-decorated the dining room and a double bedroom. Removed all the rubbish and left everything in very good condition. They were totally reliable, did an excellent job always, were decent and reliable and excellent value for money. I cannot recommend them more highly, and hopefully they will always be available in the future, for indoor and outdoor work.

AJS did a great job taking off the top layer of a bumpy overgrown lawn back to a flat clear surface and putting down a weed barrier and shingle on the front lawn. However, they also did some repair works to the interior of the property and I was particularly pleased with the repair to some badly blown plaster. AJS take appointed times very seriously and do a high quality job putting skilled workmanship and pride into their work. I will use them again.
