Bad service, I paid extra to be met at the airport, but driver didn't meet me, instead called me 30 min after the booked time saying he is on his way… And asked me to go outside to meet him to "save time". I have to wait for another 20 min to be picked outside of the Heathrow T5 terminal. One books and pays in advance to avoid this type of rush and stress. And this is the second time they have done it to me ! Absolutely awful. DO NOT USE. BE WARNED.
I'd used this firm for pick up and drop off last holiday and although they were delayed during pick up I believed the excuse at the time to be genuine. This year they were fine dropping us off at the airport but despite receiving booking confirmation emails they left us stranded with 3 children under 7 at the airport with no communication of any kind on our return. We only booked with them despite costing more because we wanted our children to be safer and have car seats. Our flight was early so we gave them the benefit of the doubt by waiting an hour as we had expected to be out through security later but that time came and went. My son at 5 yrs old wasn't very well and the last we needed was for 3 kids to be waiting around. My husband and I kept checking to see if anyone came and had a sign by the gate. No answer to the phone calls. After waiting hours we had to take an airport taxi which cost a bomb. With no child seats. I emailed them from the airport to just in case that would get to someone but no reply still 3 days later. I'm appalled they would treat family's like this. Dangerous! They send a car without proper taxi License. Driver refused to show his Taxi ID. Don't use them. Report to council!
Reluctant to leave 1 star. Ordered cab to do round trip from home to Gatwick and return 7 days later. Well no cab arrived at 9am our appointed pick up. Phoned numerous times but after speaking to someone on the first 2 calls they never answered again after that as I know my number came up. Answered when I used my husbands number and I gave them a right telling off as it was 9. 45 now. Cancelled and demanded a full refund which was promised to be paid within 24 hours. 48 hours later and still no refund. PAYPAL complaint monies returned almost 2months later. I don’t recommend this cab company.
I have used Steve and his drivers for 6+ years both for work and family. You get a text the day or night before who will drive you, registration and car type and pick up time. I travel a lot, and have never been late for a plane. I trust them so much I use them to pick up teenage kids, when I can't make it, I have also used them occasionally to take relatives back from parties. Great service, great value for money.
Whether I am arranging a business trip or a holiday I always use Airport Express MK Ltd, Steve and his team have never let me down and I know I can simply book it and forget it. Cars are always clean and reliable without being too flashy which with other companies you end up paying for one way or another. The drivers are always on time and are only too willing to help with luggage at both ends of the journey. The online booking system is simple to use and you get a discount for using it. The text sent to you 24hrs in advance of your return also gives you confidence that someone is going to be there to meet you at the end of a long trip.
I frequently work abroad and I've been using Airports Express for about 2 years for both work and personal. Steve and all his drivers are excellent. They always arrive in good time and are helpful, polite and from personal experience very patient if there's a last minute panic. I love the fact that Steve always texts me the drivers name and reg before every trip. I've also used Steve a lot for running my kids, and he's brilliant as he always texts me to say that he's dropped them off safe and sound. It's priceless having someone you can totally trust.
